The top is always down on mine when it's in the garage, and when I am driving it. Depending on where I am parking away from the house, the top may be up or it may be down. At the golf course I put it up because I am going to be away from it for four or more hours, and being close to the coast...
I had a 2018 that I got rid of last December with 99,000 miles on it, just before the 2024 arrived. When I first got it I had the rear window problem. The sales guy said "all you have to do is pull on them and they will close all the way." My response was "All you have to do is fix it as it is...
I had read a while ago that build quality at the beginning of the production run for the S650s was so bad, they stopped production until they could get it right. Mine was built in November 2023, and when I picked it up on December 26, it was perfect. And I picked it up a couple of hours after it...
My 2018 EcoBoost Premium Convertible, which I got rid of in December before my 2024 arrived, had gone through the automatic car wash (both the brush type and the touch-free type) over 100 time in the 99,000 miles and 5 years I had it. The top still looked like new when I sold it. And I never...
My 2024 is too new to offer any input on the Continental ProContact tires that it came with. My 2018 had just under 100,000 miles on it when I sold it last year. Only replaced the Goodyear tires once on that car, and the second set had plenty of tread left when we parted ways.
Here is a pic of mine. Because of the posts I had seen about panel gaps, I looked at that when the car arrived at the dealer. No issues that I could see.
I saw that along with some other "Coupons" available from Ford. One of the "coupons" is for "The Works." The coupon says nothing about the cost for "The Works" and nothing about the discount that the "Coupon" offers. I have reached out to two Ford Dealers and the replies have been "I don't Know."
As far aesthetics, I bought a cheap black plastic frame that surrounds the plate and it looks a lot more finished. (That would have happened no matter what bracket I bought.) I think raising it would actually not improve it.
I did not buy it for my 2018 and when the electronics went out at about 50,000 miles, it cost me around $1800 to have it fixed. New screen and modules required to support it. ESP would have covered that.
I had only bought one extended warrantee and that was for my 2015 H-D Ultra Limited. I was...
It's a 2022 XLT Hybrid (2.5). It's my wife's daily driver and she loves it. I love the 42 mpg average. All in all it's a pretty good "car". More SUV than truck. Her previous SUV was an Escape and she likes having a little more utility with the bed.
I don't drive every day, but when I do drive I drive the Mustang...unless it's raining. Then I drive the Maverick. I picked the car up on December 26, and have not driven it with the top up. Headed to the golf course on several mornings with the temperature below 40°F. Heated seat and heater...
I had a 2018 EcoBoost Premium convertible that probably went through automated car washes around 100 times and never had any leakage whatsoever, so I don't think it is fair to say that this leakage is "way normal."
I sold my 2018 before I bought the 2024. I still have the inserts and they fit the 2024. Like scazea, I never used them on the 2018 even though I bought them for somewhere around $100 (If memory serves me correctly). Not sure why I checked them on the 2024, but they fit. They are back on the...
Did some driving around today. I installed the kit just as it came and it does appear to block a small portion of the area where the radar is located. However, in traffic, both heavy and light, I drove around with the adaptive cruise control activated. I varied the gap setting several times...
Well...as often happens, life got in the way. I just completed the install this afternoon. I will be running some errands tomorrow, and will provide some feedback later in the day. I have already figured out how to raise the plate about 1-1/4", if necessary. But I will wait until I see if the...
