keep in mind the season change with cooler denser air depending on where you're at. i do feel like air quality has a huge impact on what i feel as far as power... and traction. I know i'll get the side eye for this from everyone but maybe @Starship Enterprise. i feel like my car's computers have...
it looks like the actual spoiler is the same but maybe they realized the bumpers were not needed and/or changed vendor. I wonder if they went back to that on the newer ones or left the bumpers off
i agree with everything @smurfslayer wrote. manual dh non hp. i love launch control. i can report wheel hop, mostly on unprepped, grainy, choppy asphalt (thinking this also unsettles mag ride system at launch). much less on better surfaces. that said, i'm sure it's there even on a good launch...
when was your car built? i've got the non hp spoiler, and remembered to look at this last time i wiped the car down. i didn't have any bumpers and if there were provisions to accept bumpers, it wasn't obvious. so i wonder if they use multiple sources or they are from different runs. mine was...
i don't know your circumstances so please don't take offense. i think given the amount of electronics on our cars, i'd definitely be more inclined to run the battery through a full charge cycle before running the car, to avoid any damage to charging system and/or electronics maybe due to under...
sorry for hijack. question on contact02 tires. did the dry grip fall apart at low temp similar to pirelli? or sloppy, wet, winter traction just sucks? my brother was just visiting and had these on his car. they still seemed pretty "soft" even at 30 degrees. i was thinking about going to these...
never seen it broken down by exact parts. i'm probably missing some but i'd figure
front splitter
rear spoiler
hp wheel and tire
camber plates
maybe upgrade sway bars
hp/lower springs
magneride tuning to optimize package
key feature of the CURRENT premium is only memory ventilated seat. so if you're upgrading to recaro anyway, no sense in burning your money. the dark horse puddle lamps are a kinda cool but you could probably swap those in later
i skipped the handling package due to the trofeo tires. if they would've traded for pilot ps4, would've been a done deal. but i bought it to drive AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE so i figured i'd go bigger when the factory tires were done. non hp car still extremely satisfied for now. just do it.
same here. grew up die hard chevy family until my only other brand new purchase (silverado) fuel tank module rotted and started leaking fuel, then when repaired a central brake line ruptured and i almost lost the truck and a customer's boat into the lake. now my newest ford is the first my dad...
agree on stage 1 Whipple. if you're going to go you might as well go all the way. I'm really considering a centrifugal on mine. not as harsh on the drivetrain. I saw upgraded half shafts on your list so hopefully you're set
I thought about like a 3m truck bed spray. I tried to hold that can back about 18 in to spatter it on. not sure if that got it any more course or if that's just the way its gonna dry regardless
love the bronze. where'd you pick up those rock guards? my driveway is a hot sloppy mess. maybe i can get a couple more winter driving days in with those to keep the mud splash down.
so many things are now computer controlled, i am afraid to change too much on a car without disrupting what i feel is already a close to perfect balance. i say dark horse hp and add the Whipple or centrifugal if thats your goal. ford and its engineers have a lot more experience than I. i have...
