not a fan but I surely wouldn't trade the car over it. my work truck is a 2010 expedition. i think that style squeeze and pull shifter would be awesome, with a manual gate to the side so you could slam the shifts or use the paddles. would make manual guys feel more involved also.
so you're out of injector but still have fuel? i was counting on at least injectors
good news. injectors were on the list. but if pressure was to be an issue, those kpm fuel pumps claim to fix cornering starvation also
this is disappointing to me. i'm really getting itchy for a g3x but was hoping i could run factory fuel for a while on 120mm. thoughts on kpm 1000hp in-tank module? i'm researching and building a list now so I'll be following closely
I have kind of given up on this as well. kind of feel like Ford put the feelers out, and even though a lot are upset it's not "a shelby", more are interested in buying this baddass car, including us. but since there's more interested, I feel like the price is going to be higher and I won't pay...
I agree. it's been way too long. with all this snow melt, i can't make it down the driveway dry yet... sigh. so yeah the warmer temps are just a tease here too.
i have also had this happen a couple of times under extremely fast shifting. like the peddle sticks and you feel it come up and slap your shoe sole. i wondered if maybe i had a fluid bubble, maybe cocked the peddle arm crooked and it stuck, or maybe it hooked the carpet. only once in a great...
it's a shame most of these cars will go to guys/gals that may be able to carry the title of "enthusiast" but never deserving of the title "driver". and the would-be "drivers" that should be out repping the car pushed aside by dealer mark up and greed.
I would have ordered my dark horse in iconic silver metallic if it were available. I hope @roket is right on his pricing speculation and maybe now is my shot🤞
Thoughts on carbon fiber composite brace resting/working over top of the hot engine. does it flex more than steel at temperature? does it warp over time? post cure issues or is it heat cured? That's an expensive maybe to me. looks cool though
did they provide documentation with part numbers and associated costs on parts? not sure if they would share being it was a warranty repair but I'd be interested to see part numbers and cost.
I just watched the YouTube video posted by @fordmustangclub. lots of actual video from the press presentation. I'll be honest if I was there I probably would have been snoozing. apparently the dark horse SC was designed and engineered by a small team of monotoned unenthusiastic zombies.... I did...
