Does the active exhaust rely on electricity or vacuum? Mine are loud too at startup. Then they calm down. Kinda makes a fool of the use quiet mode in the morning so you won’t disturb the neighbours. I wondered if vacuum; the engine may have to build some to close down the exhaust. Just a thought.

I have the A10 and I don’t think I’ve ever used the little electric brake. I just leave it in Park and no it never moves on startup, it just sits there. I don’t appear to have any of the issues other folks here do.
