Yes, mine is the coupe, no spare, so even lighter. If you track race yes I can see that but all I get is at a light where multiple lanes converge into one ahead and a DH pulls up beside me to show me how it’s done. Yup, straight line and he pulls in behind me. On one occasion pounding his...
I don’t get it either. GT with active exhaust is actually 486hp out the factory door 14 less than the DH, but the DH is 122lbs heavier. It takes very little to bump the GT up 14hp and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper. I have the base GT with active exhaust and the A10 and I have now twice run up...
ACC is not all it’s made to seem. My base GT doesn’t have it but my wife's Toyota XLE Cross does and it can be annoying at times.
For example, you’re driving on a two lane road and the vehicle in front of you signals a right turn and thus moves right. Normally you would just slow a bit and keep...
That’s kind of a country thing. Where we are we wave at everyone in our local area as we know most of them but even new vehicles we don’t know get a wave it’s just the polite thing to do and I don’t want to be thought of as a snob. So I’m with ya.!
A phenomenon I have noticed lately is that while in my Mustang every other Mustang driver I see waves at me as they pass. This is my fourth Mustang and I don’t ever remember this happening any time in the past.
Is this new?
It’s normal to wave when on my Honda Goldwing but in the Mustang!!!
There are now more updates, one from the CEO herself with 5 new models including the Camaro.. so I guess we’ll see what happens.
I was surprised myself as before buying the Mustang I tried to order a Camaro because of the V6 at a local dealer but was told nope, closed. Now when I dropped in to...
If you search for 2025 Camaro there lots of replies now.
It’s difficult to know the actual future. Some say GM says no more EVs, while others claim GM is going all out EVs. Even suggesting the Camaro will become an electric SUV. Who the hell knows.
GM has announced the return of the Camaro. GM said “all new” but to me it looks the same as the previous version. It comes with a couple of little engines but the biggest change is it can be optioned with the Vet V8 670hp and the price to match.
Get used to it. The US is already going metric. Look at your engine sizes now. NASA went metric and look at your canned and glass consumables now displayed in both.
Metric is easier to use and more precise. You’re just resistant to change.
Here’s an update.. I know you won’t care but hey!
This is my latest fuel economy.
7.6 litres/100kms is UK37.17mpg or US30.95mpg
When I fill now my GT tells me 737kms (458 miles) to empty.
No, I don’t drive like Grandpa, (actually I’m not a Grandpa).
I do zoom occasionally.
This is the result...
