Your state will have tint laws and cops can pull you over to inspect them. So make sure you check those. I’m doing 20% and I’m good with that.

Also make sure you have someone who will pass your vehicle if you have a state inspection needed for registration purposes.

I had 5% on the rear passenger windows of my wife’s expedition. You can’t see put them at night. My installer recommended not going lower than 18% on the rear window just to help with the night to driving. You can’t see in it from the outside so it’s still good. I would suggest the same.

Certain changes. You can’t change major things like convertible vs coupe. And you might not be able to add the performance package or go from 300a to 400/401A

They might have been built after the issue was corrected on the assembly line. Point is there are a lot that need to be fixed before they ship. You can both be right in your statements as they are not conducive of each other.

Considering how many other sports cars have convertibles with spoilers ….and the “turbulence” wouldn’t swirl back toward the top to be a problem (watch their wind tunnel testing with a spoiler). This is not a issue of design inability. I’m already paying $4500 more for the convertible option...

I know it’s the list price….that’s the point. Ford charges that price for the spoiler which is in the package that I pay full price for.

This will be my second convertible mustang. I’ve gotten the performance package one both. And I would like to use this forum to express my irritation with Ford and their continued decision to financially screw over the convertible owners. For those who are unaware, all convertibles...

Feels like the back end of the S650 doesn’t have that “big booty” look. Seems sleeker, not sure if it’s any lower at the trunk lid or not though.
