Not if your rpm’s are higher than they need to be to go into the next gear. No need for flutter the throttle for me when going into second at 5500 rpm. Because in 2nd it should immediately drop to around 3500

None. And if at highway speeds you don’t like the tone just put it in quiet. When you start going through the RPM range again go back to track for that full volume experience.
This picture is how the top lays down then I retract it. And I do not mess with the handle when I put it down. I unlock and let it go. No need to lay it back flat before putting the top down. Works fine.

I drove it to Buffalo NY 2 weeks ago. 900 miles each way, so driving isn’t a problem lol. Best part is the engine is broken in and it’s craving more power!
