I saw this on the aussie dark horse Facebook page, possibly cars that haven't been sent to dealers getting update first, if so this is so strange if it's a software update
I just ran my VIN on the Ford Australia recall website and it seems to come up clear, previously was showing up with the recall, guessing they must be fixing/updated the issue. I'll give my dealer a call for an update
Just had a read of this article which has got some more info
https://www.carexpert.com.au/car-news/hundreds-of-ford-mustang-buyers-forced-to-wait-even-longer-due-to-recall-fix
Still think it's extreme considering "240 of these vehicles have been delivered to customers", so these cars are...
I'll prob do the same, I always change oil at 5000kms on my cars, exactly what you said oil is cheap so may as well.
Is the standard change 15k kms damn that's crazy, oil must be getting better hehehe
Sitting waiting for this do not deliver recall to rectify and trying to burn time reading the owners manual I noticed the breaking in 1600kms.
Just wondering if any one with their cars delivered are getting oil changed/service/check up done and if it's dealer included...
Sounds like they are gonna hold them back according to this

Which is strange especially if it's a software update. Some of our cars will be sitting idle for almost 5 months since built if not more if it's true
Found this pdf describing the recall, hopefully it is just a software update that will happen with pre delivery and not hold back too much, the cars are soooo close hehehe

Hey guys just wanted to see what everyone thinks in regards to price vs power of the GT vs DH. Seems like it's approx $20k for 2kw, and yes i know the other differences of the GT vs DH.
I can understand the price if the DH was at the full 500hp but to be cut that much is it worth it for the...
I agree with you, those mach e prices I just pulled from the Ford Au/US websites and just based my guestimate on the dollar charged for the car US/AU nothing else. I guess we can only hope Ford Au don't put their own mark ups
I agree, ill be cancelling mine if its over the 100k mark.
I had compared drive away mach e pricing for aus-us (didnt go into features) and was a bit shocked. Not sure why but they seem marked up here
Mach e :
Select $87k aud/ $43k US
Premium $101k aud/ $47k US
Gt $118k aud/$60k US
Prices...
I'm guessing closer to 90k mark drive away for the GT and prob 120k for the dark horse. Just rough comparing the mach e from the states to here they seem to be close to double for our equivalent spec
(Praying that I'm wrong)
My dealer seems pretty clueless whenever I ask if there's an update so I gave up asking.
Also didn't allow to put in pre options that apparently ford has made available here in Aus.
Guarantee that they'll give allocations to mates and mark up on the used market 😫😫
