Donuts. Deposit paid April 23, order updated and confirmed Nov 23. Update just emailed dealer, no news on allocation or build date. Good news is that I'm now 21st in the dealers GT queue instead of 27th.

I ppl like me better hope we get our GT before Jan 1 2025 otherwise its prob gonna push my order into the 100k+ range (currently 92k)

What would be cost of this change? Does it only apply to first registration or every year after Jan 1 2025?

Yeah 5.0ALM pointed that out as well. To me the centre console/tunnel looks angled to the right where the start/stop and volume buttons etc.. would go, might just be my old eyes though. The gaping hole on the left I think sits behind the glove box, looks "gloveboxish" in shape

When I confirmed my order in November my dealer warned me that this may very well be the case. I'm the 26th GT on their books, so not expecting mine till Sep/Oct, which may make it a MY25 model (caveat: I'm not sure how model years work).

You're probably right. My current car is a Honda Accord with a Civic Type R box in it that was lauded as a great unit. Guess what - it has a sticky 3rd gear as well but only at high rpm.

My bad, I was taking a guess, as my sig indicates I never really looked at the auto. Looking forward to some 3rd gear lockout with the Getrag unit :D

It's been discussed in another thread on here, can't remember which one. For some its a deal breaker for others its not. Guess it depends on whether you want to spend circa $2k on an auto to make the problem go away.

So should anyone's who's paid a deposit and has a signed sale contract with Priority 99 be worried that they might not see their car till 2025 or get screwed around by Ford?

I got priority 99 on mine too, order in April. I think this means I'm not in the dealers first allocation (or perhaps even the next). I'm 26th in line at Power Ford. Reckon those with the 99 code should keep in touch with their dealer regularly to ensure it gets switched at the right time and...

Dealer emailed me this yesterday. Interestingly it's a MY24.5 designation which makes sense if it comes next May-July. He did say brace yourself for end of next year in which case it would have a MY25 designation.

Stands to reason that would be the case. Guess I'll have to wait.

Are the peeps posting build dates, VIN's and delivery dates all DH orders? My dealer can't tell me anything about my GT order except where I am in the queue at that dealer (26th GT) and a stock number. Was in there yesterday and my Sales guy was on leave so I firmed up the order with Sales GM...
