Just had a call from my dealer. Pretty much what we know already. He confirmed again Ford has a fix and have applied that to cars in their possession. Those cars are being released to dealers. As for cars already with dealers or customers, the fix will be passed on to dealers soon, but it might...
Yeah there are many variables. I don't think there's a complete wrong or right way. Essentially just choose your poison. Each choice has pros and cons.
Unfortunately, no drive for me yet. Still waiting on this stupid recall fix. Luckily I'm getting the ppf and tinting and stuff sorted in the...
The reason I got them to butt the film up against the decal and not PPF over it is twofold. One, it will change the look of the decal. The satin or mat parts of the decal will become glossy. Two, when you want to replace the bonnet PPF, the decals will pull off with the PPF and they are super...
The biggest issue with having different diameter wheels on the same axis, is that its hard on the diff. So yeah you wouldn't want to be driving like that for too long and would want to limit the difference in diameter as much as you can.
+1 on that one. I really want to get one but need one that will fit without any hack work. I'm not lubing up a tyre to make it fit. It should look and fit like OEM.
Just saw this post by someone on the Dark Horse Australian Facebook group. Take it with a pinch of salt until we hear anything official, but if true it might be reasonably good news. Apparently dealers got an update to the recall bulletin last night. I'll ping my dealer later and see if I can...
Lol , I wont say its 30k more. More like 20k, which I'll admit I don't like to think about right now seeing my baby is in storage awaiting this fix. The more I hear the more it sounds like the fix is only coming in January so that sucks. At least I'm getting the PPF and window tint done in the...
You're going to love Collinte 845! It's quite durable for a wax and looks amazing. I'm doing PPF on my car, but if I wasn't, I would have probably just stuck to Collinte 845 and called it a day.
I didn't check, but to my knowledge none of the Australian cars have the Dark Horse puddle lamps. The reason being we have completely different mirrors to the US cars. It's a compliance thing.
I'm secretly hoping this cover has some linting issues! 😉
That way I can take it of the car and be like "oh no! There a little bit of lint or fluff on the car. I guess I'll need to wash it again!" 🤷😂
