Yeah they did. They left the stops in there cause the car went to MADinc on a flatbed truck and those lift the car up a little so it makes transport a little safer. They took them out when they did the update and pre-delivery service.

Yeah that's probably the first thing I'd check. Keep the car on a battery tender for a bit and see if it stops maybe? Many people have electric gremlins because of batteries being low or damaged from the long wait.

Yeah good luck to you. I hope yours works and you get the car. Nobody needs this drama in their life. Unfortunately I'm now at a point where I expect to be disappointed when dealing with Ford.

I wonder if we can demand any sort of compensation. The problem is that strictly speaking we havent actually bought these cars yet. And if you decide not to take it, there are many others that will. So I doubt they will give us anything for our trouble.

Now that is some really good news! If you have your VIN and you check it against recalls, does it no longer show 24C35?

Yeah I've been told I can collect my car on Friday, but punching the VIN into the recall check on Ford's site it still shows up as affected so I'm not sure they've successfully updated my car yet. I'll probably check in with them later today or tomorrow and ask.
