Which makes no sense as there are Fords and Lincolns with zero visible antennas. The S197 made sense since the pod-type antennas weren't very common then, but since they're everywhere now (or tucked into the interior) it really ages the S550/650 convertibles. I guess it gives a retro vibe, but...
Not sure how I feel with white/bronze, I'd really like to see dark matter grey, black or one of the blues with this package. Seems like a unique option for a Mustang though.
This is my conundrum...I ordered a '23 in Eruption Green because it looks so damn good, but I also like the '24...
Yeah I was in a time crunch for work this morning after finding this out. No obvious Dark Horses, but haven't looked at each individual VIN. Seems like all 38 cars are all GT's or at least built on a GT platform, all built in October around the 12th. My main guess is press cars - if Ford's...
God damn...I guess I should've explained better lol. I was mainly saying the picture and window sticker exist and are real - that its not an elaborate photoshop. I also have no doubt this (and probably a few other ones) are pre-production vehicles (build sheet shows job 1) just using an S550...
As said...needs more black accents lol. I think the spoiler works well with this design, as without it the trunk lines seem too flat and long. To each their own though.
However, this one also has those weird lights at the grille corners lit up...I wonder if it's accent lighting for the grille...
Looks like production test cars IMO judging by the seat covers and door protection. Not so sure on the color though, but I'm certain it looks better in person. I wish they kept Eruption Green, Mischievous Purple, and Cyber Orange - or at least some new green/orange/blue that really makes the car...
HOLLY 🤬 - yeah they absolutely roasted that clutch. At least we know it can last at least one good clutch roast and still drive lol. Absolutely hilarious they decided to post it anyways.
Reminds me of a mid 00's F150 manual I dealt with for cooling issues - company truck that some dude picked...
I've always thought this too, especially after the 2018 refresh. It's just a cleaner look that makes sense with the rest of Ford's lineup. I can see why they probably didn't though - packaging. The Explorer and Fusion (and I think everything else aside from the DCT in the GT500) use a physical...
I really hope the HPP makes it in at some point. It's a great package that really makes the EB funner to drive. Being a new motor design/architecture though, I doubt it would offer any major performance increase. I wish Ford would just drop the damn ball on the EB and base non-performance pack...
Probably the one thing that really gets my hopes up is the apparent huge amount of addons - wheels, brakes, interior, etc. - much like how Chevy allows performance orientated options without buying an overpriced package. Hopefully it doesn't turn into packaged crap and you can order Brembos and...
For shits and giggles I threw the VIN in from the first video in OP's post into PTS and...apparently it somewhat exists. Shows up as a basic VIN for a 2023 Mustang with no other info.
Looks like a slight chance for 2023 model year (maybe late-late?), unless by law/other reason they're using...
