Nice. Did you go for the magnarode and active exhaust too? I got those as well on my eco premium w/201A and PP. At this point with Ford removing PP on the 2025, I feel like I have a Bit of a unicorn as very few ecoboosts came with the same setup.
Am I missing something? I thought premiums all had the B&O stereo which has the sub? Or was that the 201a package that added it? I forget. I got both the premium + 201A so can’t remember which provided the upgraded stereo…
If the dealership has their own body shop have them do it. Just make sure they order the right parts the first time (unlike mine when mine got rear ended IN THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE LINE!). My dealership didn’t notice I had the PP on my ecoboost and ordered the rear valence for dual exhaust...
Man SOOO glad I bought when I did back in May and didn’t wait on the special order I had submitted (that at this point would likely have been turned into a 2025). If I had waited I wouldn’t have been able to get my Eco Premium 201A w/PP, Active Exhaust and Magnaride…
What totally kills me is...
I had similar issues for a long time with my 2011 Explorer which was the first to get the Sync 3 system. Basically what you are seeing is what’s known in the software industry as a “memory leak”… the software has bugs in it where it doesn’t correctly release memory after using it (like the...
Oh, just as a heads up, I reached out to the organizers on Monday to ask how the "new" track was coming along and whether it would be ready in time for my Aug 27 session. I had been told previously that we would NOT be on the Roval and would be using the new track (that's what they told me back...
Literally just finished doing the swap over. Thanks to pictures from others I was able to find all the clips and manage not to snap any of them when removing the trim ring.
Yeah it definitely is a better thump than before. You do have to turn the volume up and have the right song playing to...
Oh yeah Cloudstrike TOTALLY F’ed up, but the fact that United and American had largely recovered and were back to almost normal operations by Saturday while Delta STILL (Tuesday following week) is still in shambles says a lot about Delta’s practices, systems and IT.
So last week I was on business travel with a couple coworkers to Devil’s Lake, ND from Philly. Originally scheduled to fly back home on Sunday, but we were getting done Friday night so manager told us to change our plans to go back home on Saturday.
Original schedule had me driving to Grnad...
Yeah I get ya. I’m 51 and that’s why I went for the Ecoboost w/PP and magnaride and active exhaust. It’s mostly being used for going back and forth to work, which is only a mile. I couldn’t justify the extra $10k price tag + worse gas mileage + higher insurance rates for the Gt. 315hp off the...
This has happened to me several times now but I initially thought maybe I had bumped the switch until yesterday when it happened multiple times in a row…
Had window down, flipped the switch for it to roll up. It starts coming up and then goes back down. Took me 3 tries to get the window to roll...
Finally got her back yesterday…
Dealship called back on July 3 saying the replacement part was in. I was out of town so scheduled for the repair on Monday.
Monday I show up at 8am. They tell me it should only take a couple hours so I figure I’ll wait and work from there.
2.5 hours later the...
If I had been able to SEE the rig pulled
on the side, sure, but I couldn’t from where I was and with the traffic. And you don’t swerve into other lanes if there are cars there! You can’t tell but I had to hit the brakes pretty good there as I was accelerating to move into that gap when he swerved.
It had handicapped controls (in addition to the standard ones). Owner said the standard controls DO work unless she hit some combination of the handicapped controls (which is quite possible. Look how long it took her to start and begin moving the car).
And yeah that almost was a LOT worse than...
