Thanks for this info guys! A whole 400 miles on my DH & rock chips already! RIDICULOUS! I'm in on the ZL1 splash guards & & anchor room PPF protection kit for the lower sections. Oh & some doctor color chip for the chips b4 the PPF.
NOTE! Just ordered ZL1 splash guards use code ZL15 should get...
Pretty sure someone has tried to change the gear ratio in a 2024 already & it didn't like it! You will need to tune it which is at this point not possible.
Ford should have made the DH with the FRONT FACING DH emblem in the front grill instead of the running pony! Now if someone made a replacement with the DH emblem in the grill lighted or not I'd be in.
Yeah wonder why they wouldn't let you have control over the speed-RPM's! Makes no sense to me & I wonder if this could be corrected or added through an update.
WHAT? We've gone backwards? My 2011 has the my key & lets you limit speed-RPM's. Thought the 2024 would let you do the same! That's sort of the idea so when dropping the car off or valet parking they can't abuse the vehicle! So to me if this is true definitely a step backwards. Now I can't mess...
It'll never see a racetrack so no need to have the HP it would be more expense for the hell of it! That $$$$ can go towards a little forced induction.:clap:
My DH Auto was built 12-4 (description in signature) from what I understand that would make it job 2. No start-stop. Not sure what mileage I'll actually get with the DH but I get almost 20MPG's mixed driving majority city vs highway with the 2011 GT.
Anyone use the valet parking feature on their 2024 yet? Was thinking it would be a hell of a prank to let my buddy drive it & then set the valet parking mode on it while he's in the store. Should be able to set the speed & RPM limit I assume. Then when he gets back in OH shit man you broke the...
DH will have paint correction & SB3 Alpha Ceramic coating applied. It will return once each year for annual maintenance wash-inspection & reseal to maintain warranty.
I know the line of sight is much better in the 2011 than in the 2024! Have them side X side in the garage & the new DH is a bit larger LOL! Since the DH is supposed to be a track car I would think the line of sight would be better.? I'm surprised that none of the reviewers mentioned this.
It was an auto DH. Some are saying that the DH gained 3 or 4 hundred lbs. But if the Mach 1 6speed weighs 3866 vs DH auto 4024 the difference is 158 not 3-400. Now I don't know if the auto weighs 110 lbs more but if it does that would be a difference of 48lbs if the DH is a 6speed. I posted...
@Mishimoto Is this driver side or passenger side on the 2024? I'd want something that is easy to drain & or clean. How is your catch can serviced-cleaned? Are you able to show how where it mounts in the engine bay?
