A coyote car would crush the 2010 in almost every metric, it's true. There was just something about the 2010. I would buy another one if I could find a clean one.
The screens have their merits but they're not going to age well. Like all tech it's just a short time before the newer stuff seems way faster and better. You can already compare the responsiveness of our screens to the ones in a BMW and you'll see what I mean.
They're also horribly difficult...
To answer your question;
Yes, the car is tail happy in a turn.
It's even worse if you're on 245s, if roads are wet, if tires are worn, if your rear suspension is worn, or if you're using budget tires. If all of those are true then you'll need to learn a much lighter foot.
Without a video or something I'm only guessing here but it sounds like normal operation to me. If you're not using much accelerator the transmission goes through its shift phases more slowly. When you hit the paddle it makes noises as it goes into various different states before actuating the...
I feel like the two cars are just updated and reskinned versions of the GT350 and GT500. It seems like calling the GT500 reskin 'SC' implies that it's just a supercharged Dark Horse. But in reality the differences are a lot more than just the supercharger.
The numbers get really wierd if you convert them to gold.
In 1968 a GT500 cost ~110 ounces of gold.
In 2007 they cost ~60 ounces.
In 2014 they cost ~50 ounces.
In 2020 they cost ~55 ounces.
Today a brand new DH only costs like ~15 ounces and a brand new Z06 is only ~30 ounces.
I'm no expert, I don't even have a 650, but doesn't slippery mode on the A10 also reduce shift pressure and allow for more shift slip? If so, isn't that kind of hard on the transmission? I would imagine it would heat up faster too? Always been curious about that.
Dang, is that really what your car is doing?
I guess I thought we were talking run of the mill hesitation but there's no way I could give my car half pedal without launching hard right away
