What you're experiencing is fairly common for convertibles and open-top cars. Have you checked the torque on the sway bar and the front strut tower brace? for the front, it's 41 ft-lb. For the rear sway bar it is: sway bar to bracket: 52, sway bar end links: 85. Maybe during your road trip they...
Yikes, I'm at 30k miles and haven't changed the diff fluid. Taking it in to the dealer for the 30k miles service, will make sure they change the fluid as part of their service. (I hope it is standard procedure).
Basically exactly how'd I'd option the car, except for the stripe (no offense). Although it doesn't look bad with the black exterior. Nice car.
Congrats!
I think the main difference for track mode is the suspension setup.
Track mode = stiffest suspension mode, Sport+ steering, linear throttle pedal
Sport+ = seems to be the preferred mode, myself included.
Sport+ = what @Neggytive said.
In track mode, at least in my car, the throttle is more linear and likes to be driven at higher rpms. Sport+ throttle response is more pronounced and can make the car feel faster. Steering remains the same in both modes. No difference. If you look at track apps status screen you can see that...
What's the point of owning the Mustang GT if it feels like you're towing a house? I'd sell it if I felt that way, no question. Almost sounds like you're driving in limp mode and you don't know it..... But you probably don't know what limp mode is. Something's wrong. GTs are awesome.
when this happens, what if you turn off the car and restart it. do the faults go away? check your torque sensor. it can trigger the steering assist fault. good luck.
I have no doubt in the value of getting the MagneRide. I have it on my car and it drives great. I was pointing it out because the S550 "base" was configurable to have the package. (I'm still holding out of the purchase of a new S650. Very tempted but not convinced.)
I was on the ford site building out new Mustang GTs and noticed that the MagneRide option is only available in the premium trim. Am I mistaken or is this actually true?
