Take the cap and either wrap a single layer of electrical tape around the section that is supposed to grab the socket or take some needle nose pliers and deform the edge of the plug ever so slightly so it grabs when you insert it.
Nice!
Thank you!
What I did was enter the "Help mode" or whatever it's called and took pics of the 3 or 4 screens showing commands. There are many missing though from what I can tell.
In most cars with buttons I have driven if you have the A/C running with the blower on (obviously) and you press the A/C button to turn off the A/C the blower continues to run but in vent mode, so no compressor running.
The vacuum gauge was used to tune idle for the best mixture as well as balance between the multiple carbs and base timing as well.. You are correct that much could be done by ear as well, especially timing, but learning to use and read a vacuum gauge was a critical skill. TBH I love things...
I think there is a TSB for noisy seat cooling fans. Maybe this applies?

A young at heart 64yo here.
I started my interest in cars tuning dual carbs with a vacuum guage on Hemi motors, rebuilding both Carter and Holley carbs as well. Ahh the good old days :)
Yea, I got used to it as well and overall actually prefer the screens.
Do you know how to control the blower/Fan speed via Sync command?
I have not been able to figure that one out or if it's even possible.
There was a severe thunderstorm here a couple of months ago and a very loud thunder clap or maybe the torrential rain caused my Ford App to send a message about intrusion or tampering detected, something like that. I did NOT hear the horn blaring but the lights may have been flashing.
I'm slowly getting used to them. I've learned to use voice control for the basics "Hello Ford I'm hot", set temperature to 68 degrees" etc. I haven't yet discovered one to change the blower speed yet though which is probably the feature I use the most.
You should see the controls in wifey's...
Nice write up. You might want to look into something like the WeatherTech seat protectors which go under the car seat. We use them in my wife's 24 VW Atlas and they do work to save wear and tear on the seats.

I'm not sure if they will fit...
This discussion is bring back some bad nightmares of my college days sitting in organic chemistry class. And yes I do realize that lithium is inorganic.
Mine cracked just adjusting the rear view mirror. No excessive force was used and next thing I know I am holding the mirror, mount and all still attached to a piece of glass from the windshield.
My wife's 24 VW Atlas is well known for cracked windshields so I agree with the others that maybe...
