Thanks! It's encouraging to know I'm in good company !!! it's always great to learn from mistakes ! As for oil filter, others have offered excellent advice but add one more check and that is to make sure the previous oil filter gasket ie: the rubber ring, isn't left on the car.

Me too. And like an idiot, during my first oil change I wasn't paying close attention so I not only removed the belly pan, I removed the shield in front of it as well and that one is a real PITA to line up and re-install. I can be taught though :)

When I got my windshield replaced (OEM) the glass place calibrated it and gave me a printout showing all was well. I also had to sign a form stating I was given the above. First time for me, but first time with a computer on wheels :)

Yep.. That's what I was told when my windshield needed to be replaced. I asked the dealer who they used and then called a couple of high end (BMW, Mercedes, etc) dealers and asked them as well and they all gave me the same business name. Family business which has been operating for 25 years...
