got my update today that my vehicle is "in production"! Haven't been able to view my window sticker yet but I'm one step closer to having it in my driveway!
I had 2 GT's back-to-back, a 2005 and then a 2019. I got rid of the 19 for my current ride, a 2021 Jeep Gladiator but my lease is up in 3 months and I'm not keen on keeping the Jeep so I ordered a 2024 in Rapid Red with all the goodies!!!!!
I just looked at my order sheet and had a priority code of 19. I ordered my car on 2/9 and less than a week later i got a production date of 3/25 (or 4/1, which ever date Ford fells like using). Poor DCS order a car TWO FULL MONTHS ahead of me and gets the same week with a supposed priority...
This is true. My credit union is only .15% less than Ford's current rate for the same loan terms. It's a far cry from when I bought my first mustang in 2005 and financed with my credit union for HALF of what I was offered at the dealership, even for a first time buyer.
I have an a GT Premium on order with the Bronze Appearance Package and a scheduled production week of 3/25-4/1. Am I safe or is my order getting delayed? Just curious.

Currently I have State Farm for my 2021 Jeep Gladiator and I have full coverage, $300k/$100k bodily injury, $500 deductible and I pay $99/mo and I live in New Jersey. I haven't yet gotten a quote for my 2024 GT, but I do have my VIN so I may call to see what my new rate will be before my car...
According to the email I got from Ford when they gave me the production date for my order, you could lock in any price/interest rates/lease deals before taking delivery of you vehicle:
" When you apply now through Ford Credit, your credit approval and low APR, or current lease offers,* can be...
I ordered my GT with the Performance Pack which comes with summer tires and I'll keep them on till the weather gets colder and I'll switch them out for a set of MICHELIN PILOT SPORT ALL SEASON 4 tires.
At one point it made sense to get my loan from my credit union, but not now. I compared Ford's 5.9%/72 mo with my CU and there was a miniscule difference, only .15% so I'm sticking with Ford's financing for 72 mo.
I use Royal Purple XPR full synthetic oil and K&N Gold filters and I change it out every 5k miles. I like the K&N filter as it has a nut welded on to the end so removing it is a snap. At the moment, none of the sites I normally buy my supplies from has anything listed for the Gen7 yet in...
I'm a member on a bunch of other forums so instead of painting mine I'm planning on picking one up from someone swapping out theirs for an aftermarket one.
