Thanks.
We will likely have to wait until they actually get delivered to know for sure if a catch can is included with the DH
I removed the erroneous information.
I'm with you! It seems everything we get a bit of info, it is contradicted by someone. The main problem is Ford constantly contradicting themselves!
Kind of hard to switch it off or on without the button on the dash. I haven't seen a GT or Dark Horse in any of the videos with it installed.
So this leads me to believe that if the button is installed you can, if not installed you don't have it and can't turn it on.
And even Jim Farley himself got a "Reality Check" about charging EV's:

I am hoping that what you say is the truth that the Black Painted Roof constraint doesn't apply to AP, but I'll believe it when I actually see my DH scheduled with AP.
It's inevitable, new color on a first year generation model change.
Especially, as it is "Exclusive" to the Dark Horse. Not to mention, Ford reps mentioned Blue Ember in just about every discussion about the Dark Horse.
And then there's the issue of where does the electricity these EV's need come from?
Yep, the majority is stil hydrocarbons.

Renewables are gaining, but the wind don't always blow, the...
And one more fallacy that people believe. EV's are cheaper to charge than fuel a gas vehicle.
https://www.carscoops.com/2023/08/study-shows-charging-an-ev-costs-more-than-filling-up-an-ice-car-per-100-miles-driven/
Personally, EV's are never going to take over until you can pull up to a charger and get a full charge in the same amount of time it takes to pump a full tank of gas. That is why many EV owners switch back to ICE.
Many gas station have back up power to keep pumping. Especially here in Huricane prone Florida. In the last 10 years, I haven't had a issue getting gas when the power it out.
And the California Power Companies and Politicians are begging people to "Not" charge their EV's "During Peak Hours". Yeah, like the average person with a dead EV is going to say, "OH, I'm going to wait until off peak hours!". Yeah, right!
Especially if they have anything less than a 480v...
I haven't seen a thread with a direct S650 to S550 comparison. This article from Hemmings is pretty good:

I hope so, we will see what the email brings on Thursday.
Edit: Just got my 3rd "Supply Chain" email on the 140th day after order date 3/27.
But it says Scheduling for GT PP only. Hopefully that means retail orders only, no dealer orders will be scheduled.
The DH AP also includes the Black Painted roof same as Nite Pony.
Though not listed specifically in that sheet, Dealer said the AP with Black Painted roof was also constrained.
