  1. Stupid drivers doing stupid things…

The VIOFO unit is designed to work off USB (5 volts DC). The Uniden R8 is probably designed to run off 12 volts DC. This is one reason why I' so focused on the VIOFO A229 Pro!
  2. Stupid drivers doing stupid things…

I believe @DontHitMeSafetyYellow wrote that's where he is powering the camera. I'll look up the current capacity of that connection.
  3. Stupid drivers doing stupid things…

Are you saying the USB port on the rearview mirror is ALWAYS powered - even after you have turned the car off? If so, many people would say that is a plus! Great for monitoring your car while parked. Also a battery drainer. 🤬
  4. Stupid drivers doing stupid things…

You like the VIOFO A229 Pro? I guess the dealership had nothing to say as you had the video AND Audio! Nice! I would like to see pics of the front camera placement. I'm assuming you are using the USB connection off the rearview mirror. How difficult was it to route the cable for the rear...
  5. Crazy rear end

I just turned 1,000 miles a few days ago. I haven't run the engine above 4,000 rpm, but I have accelerated a few times. I have noticed the rear end feels like it's about to break loose when I accelerate from a dead stop while entering a roadway from a shopping center. Therefore I am turning...
  6. Do you guys ever get annoyed with the Dodge 5.7 guys?

I ignore the taunts. I'm old enough (77) to know I'm not out to impress anyone. Now that I'm over the 1,000 mile break in period, I will stand on her once in a while just to hear that WONDERFUL sound!
  7. Low Battery Warning at 1,000 Miles!

As I explained in my first post on this issue, The problem may have been of my own making! I have driven 80 something days (since purchase) without a problem. While I was working on something in the garage in "Accessory Mode", I may have left it that way overnight. The next morning is when I...
  8. Low Battery Warning at 1,000 Miles!

No dashcam. Before I received the car, I had read (on this forum) about low battery conditions of new vehicles because they sit around. I put my charger on the car as soon as I got it home from the delivery. It took about 8 hours for a full charge.
  9. Low Battery Warning at 1,000 Miles!

I drive virtually every day, granted the average mileage per day is only 12 miles.
  10. Low Battery Warning at 1,000 Miles!

This morning I got a notice on my FordPass app that remote features were disabled as my Mustang was in "Deep Sleep" mode to save the battery. I put my 5 amp Noco Genius charger on the battery. 4 hours later the charger is still on the first charging stage (indicator light). The only possible...
  11. It finally showed up

That is a long time! I had to wait 4 months and thought that was long!
  12. Weird things happen in my Mustang

I have similar problems with my Easy Entry/Exit option. Sometimes it works. Most times it does not. Many times it doesn't go far enough forward (Entry) or back (Exit). Even button 1 doesn't get it right.
  13. Recall 24S36 - Leaking Hydraulic Clutch Pressure Line

Just returned from my recall service and oil & filter change at 980 miles. My clutch hydraulic line was properly attached, so nothing was done other than to confirm the attachment to the firewall. I don't know what material is used for the clutch hydraulic line. What I could see is that the...
  14. Recall 24S36 - Leaking Hydraulic Clutch Pressure Line

Agree on the 5 minute vs. all day. This is why I will push for a quick inspection and decision.
  15. Recall 24S36 - Leaking Hydraulic Clutch Pressure Line

The 24S36 Recall has been somewhat lost in this thread. However, I had made an appointment with my dealer for tomorrow (Thursday) as I was close to hitting 1,000 miles and ready for an oil & filter change. I checked the clutch hose connection against the firewall and it appears solid. I am...
  16. Start/Stop failure

I stand corrected! I looked at the light when I started the car. It was not lit. As soon as I leave my neighborhood, I put the car in Sport mode. The light turns on as you stated.
  17. Start/Stop failure

    Interesting! My default is “Off”!
  18. Start/Stop failure

This may be a dumb question. Have you enabled the start/stop system? Leftmost button next to the mustang (pony) button. The default is "Off" and has an "Off" light above it I tried mine once, but the AC was running. I believe that is one of the conditions where it won't shut off. Makes sense.
