It's more about them not wanting to be liable for someone not being aware of, or not following the recommendations regarding those tires at lower temperatures. It's in the manual, and available per the tire OEM. I do not know if it's actually a production regulation.
If they wanted to, I'd...
Just don't understand the lack of planning. It's the equivalent of releasing the 350, but making 1 month of 350Rs then pausing for 6 months. They should've forecasted a number to get a couple of "warm months" of HP cars out, and pushed pirelli to meet that, knowing they would soon have the cold...
I'm sure steeda or someone else will have that comparison out within the next couple weeks.
In the meantime, Steeda also has videos of the S550 with H and X pipes with active exhaust. From pics, it seems they carried the same suitcase mid-pipe over to the S650s. Point being, you should see very...
If y'all are buying greenlight...buy one to put up, and at least one to open.
They made a velocity blue HP M1, which is sweet. But the spoiler fell off when my 4 yo coughed on it. Slightly joking, but it did fall off in less than 5 minutes and he wasn't even being rough
Is it the photo, or does the top look more restrictive? I get the shapes are slightly different, but the top looks more "tightly packed". That could somewhat corroborate the people not seeing the same gains the Gen3s got when removing.
The Mach 1s showed a little bit of a range of gains, probably averaging out around 8-10HP immediately after removal. Didn't need drive time or anything for recal.
Mostly just the difference in power delivery of the 5.0 and the 6.2.
6.2 has 30ftlbs more torque than the GT PP2, but only 10 less HP. The 5.0 revs out higher.
Curb weight of the 1LE is 3700lbs. The PP2 was about 150lbs heavier. DH heavier than that.
I'm not sure the absolute specifics, but in years past, cars with similar tires as what's coming on the DH HP weren't delivered during "winter months". Again, not saying that's happening this year, or maybe it's regional (if so, @Lastoutlaw_21 has a great chance due to location :like:). Just...
You can get a relatively low miles Mach 1 with handling pack for low-mid 50s. Probably 52-53 ish for 21s and 22s, 55-56ish for 23s or super low mile 22s. You gotta remember, those cars still had MSRPs in the high 60s. Take the carbon trap out and you've got 480HP. The 6HP bump for the GT with AE...
Man I had one. And cut one off lol I know. It’s just a reference pic.
But yeah, it wasn’t really a “true X”. You’re right though but as I mentioned it’s kind of a good thing the 24 guys got the suitcase. $150 bucks for a real X and 5-7HP. The 5.0 likes it.
I'm not sure if I'm more jealous of the floor, or the fact that I see basically zero items on that entire side of the garage.
Kidding, definitely more jealous of the floor :inlove:
This was in circulation a while back. But yes, depending on the lighting.
Clearly has some green here. Not saying it's a bad color. I just prefer AG and LFG, and also am ready to see a different gray, even if it's a return color. LFG was one year. AG was 2 years, only available on the GT350...
Maybe an unpopular opinion....offer space white or bring back avalanche/lead foot. FJG has too much green for me.
Also on the wishlist:
Kona or deep impact
Comp Orange
Green, not highland, more of a british racing green
Yeah I remember. For the DH, I was expecting a similar plot, similar slope as below...but with the max rpms bumped out so that a higher HP was achieved. Call me confused until we see some dyno runs.
This makes no sense. The 5.0 making the same tq in the DH as the GT, but having higher HP, suggests that the additional power is at the top end. A lot of us were actually anticipating a higher rev limit to accomplish this.
Not saying you or whoever carlos lagos is wrong. Just pointing out my...
I assumed so, just being goofy. Can't quite describe the top end of the DH note. To me, it does sound different, there's pops/slaps, kind of like how the bullitt sounds but also not the stereotypical catless corsa coyote rasp/slap.
