Quick update:
I made frequency measurements and found a constant 46Hz buzz once I started the engine, independent from engine RPM.
That sucked the life out of my sub.
I then stumbled across a thread about subwoofer problems and in the meantime someone found out how to deactivate Electronic Sound...
I had a constant low frequency hum or buzz, don't know the correct word for it, once the engine was running.
That disappeared after the change with Forscan, so I assume it was part of the artificial sound generation.
You could try disabling the Electronic Sound Enhancment with Forscan.
In module ACM change whatever character you have in the third column of the following line to zero:
727-01-01 xxxx xxxx 0x--
Helped another guy and myself as well.
Hey, another thing that happened and was mentioned before:
Since I made a couple of changes (list below), instead of the headlights, my daylight running lights would stay on as exit lighting for some time.
But then not in white, but as mentioned before more like a light baby pink. Very weird.
I...
I also checked the airbag status lighting behaviour as well as the small icon in the dash board when unlocking/locking and all seems to be ok.
However, I used some different values which do not tell the system there are no seats at all:
IPC 720-13-01 "8xxx" "xxxx" "xx--"
IPC 720-13-02 "xx1x"...
Also, use the
https://catalog.pac-audio.com/catalog/amppro-amplifier-interfaces/ap4-fd31
Adapter to get proper low level cinch signals for your amp rather than pinching into speaker wires.
Then eliminate electronic sound enhancement via Forscan.
Regarding deactivating the seatbelt splash screen:
Is there any information if it deactivates the airbags or seat belt tensioner for example?
Adaptive cruise control and hands on stearing wheel messages still work after above changes but if that's evidence enough for other safety systems...
Thanks for your effort.
Puddle lights are not my concern (although I wish they'd just behave like on Gen6 when the door is opened).
Found another thing in the Forscan-list: Approach_Lighting. Maybe that includes the general animation of the welcome light, I might give it a try.
It's not about me, it is about other people around who think I flash headlights in order to greet or warn about something.
@Skye as written in my OP, I already switched that option off in the settings.
Maybe via Forscan?
Yeah, I noticed that a pop up message will only be shown for quiet mode on.
But in my case it won't go back to normal and also the small indicator shows the quiet mode symbol.
Have to go to the My Mustang menu to switch to normal.
I push start and immediately after that the favorite button, so quiet mode goes on right after a few tenths of seconds.
No scheduled quiet mode starting.
Don't like the fake chrome (silver-grey metallic paint) of the side mirrors and the nostrils.
Furthermore, don't like the text "60 Years" being written (taped actually) prominently on the doors.
I've set the favorite button to toggle quiet mode, but in 99% it would only turn it on, but doesn't go back to normal exhaust mode after second button press.
Anyone else having this issue or a fix?
