I can tell you that whether you like the new interior or not... it's a lot better than the 2023 GT sitting on my local dealer lot with this interior... (pulled straight from their listing)
i read a bunch of cry babies not waiting to spend an extra 2.9% on the performance suspension to go with the performance pack on their performance car..... I mean if ya'll don't want performance, maybe go buy a non-performance car lol.
ok, I was slightly off. 2.9% of the purchase price. Not sure where you're getting $6,745 from... Below is the price directly from ford on the website builder
ya'll really out here arguing about an option thats like 2% of the purchase price of the car... If the cost of the option is really that big of a deal, maybe you shouldn't be buying the car in the first place..
right now just a 2023 Kia sportage hybrid as a DD. I sold my "fun" car a 2019 MX-5 2 months ago thinking the mustang was gonna come sooner lol.. I also had a 2017 Camaro 1SS 1LE that I sold in 2019 to get the the MX-5...
In a perfect world I'd have 3 cars... a DD, the mx-5, and a muscle car...
Yeah I could get a fully loaded 2SS 1LE for like 53k... Which is almost 10k cheaper than the GT I have spec'd. I just want something on a newer platform.
It should have been included with the performance pack, and just made it like another grand more... It's included on the Camaro SS 1LE track pack, along with a tremec, wider wheels, eLSD, trans & diff coolers, the dual mode exhaust andddd even heated & cooled recaro seats...... all for 7k.
Would love to hear about what Ford thinks about dealers marking them up, after Ford told dealers to knock that shit off a year or so ago.
I would have loved to order a darkhorse... but none of the dealers would take an order without a markup... so a GT it is...
I park all my "fun cars" from thanksgiving till mid-march. you won't escape the salt, nor do you want an oil film all over the underside of your car... makes it a mess
If it snows where you live and you can't work from home on a shitty day, and you absolutely need to be able to drive no matter the weather, get snow tires. If you don't want to worry about swapping tires... and are ok with sacrificing some performance in the dry get a high-performance all-season...
long as you aren't going crazy in the rain and driving normal, most if not all summer tires will be "OK" in the rain.... just don't be doing 100+ in a downpour and you'll be fine lol.
