It's the same in my 2018 except you don't have entire profiles, I need to select the drive mode and exhaust mode separately. IN the 2024 I just need to use the thumb button on the wheel to select my custom profile, it's easy and you will get accustomed to it in no time.

I don't usually drive in bad weather but I took delivery in the middle of winter here and have driven in rainy messy conditions as well as very cold temperatures , the engine bay is clean and I had no issues, I don't really see a need to cover the heat extractor.
