I have always "blipped" the throttle with all of my manuals on downshifts and occasionally a broken clutch cable forced a NO CLUTCH DRIVE HOME........a piece of cake with T-5's but I've never reached the "sweet spot" with MT-82's....to even disengage the current gear?? ☹

In my both 2014 GT and 2019 GT I got improved shifting with RedLine DCTF.......I'm also going to change to Redline DCTF in my 2022 GT next oil change!!
More importantly I replace the OEM Drain and Fill plugs with Magnetic plugs to catch any ferrous material that might be floating around in there!!
A word of CAUTION.......if the said oil cooler unit does not have a thermal bypass you run the risk of running the engine too cold.......many of my Cobra friends just threw FANCY coolers on their BIG MOTOR Replicas and ended up having to block the coolers just to reach normal operating...
I have a feeling Ford has tried this since 2014 or before.......all three of my Mustangs had vague throttle responses due to aggressive mapping with ridiculous and inconsistent delays in TB responses so my 6 speed shifts were often pretty crappy!!🤬

I ordered mine through a Dealer 1100 miles away and never met anyone there but trusted them and Ford to do the right thing if anything was wrong.....I paid for it and it was at my door the next day!!

Logic would say that the cover is the same for the Coupe and Convertible but knowing Ford there will probably be a difference.......anyone know for sure??:fingerscrossed:

I can visually check the fluid myself and if the clutch quits working that would be warning enough!! :wink:
LOUDER, Retarded Timing on Cold Start to accelerate Catalytic Converter heat up so you really would not want to run retarded timing during normal operation!!☹
