a "specific" answer only applies a couple weeks at a time. The TREND over time is what is important for a local market staying out of step with the rest of the country.
just pay attention to the incentives. MI and CA get stuff all the time that the rest of the country doesn't get. If you haven't picked up on that, then you're not watching the market very carefully.
that's impressive. 22% off MSRP AFTER the dealer marked it up over whatever they paid the original owner. Probably at LEAST 3K delta. Which would mean the original owner took a haircut of 27% not counting the sunk cost of taxes. If 5K (quite common) the O took a 30% haircut on a current year...
how programmed != desired.
IMO quiet mode should be quiet(ish) on startup - all flaps closed and throttle cracked only enough to hit the startup RPM. 10 seconds of elevated RPMs (1300 or so) then quickly drop to 1000-1100. If it's not doing that then it's programmed WRONG.
Nothing pissed me...
you forgot the ONLY thing that will make any difference. 3.73 diff. Some would argue 4.09. And probably missing Torsen too?
500lb difference is 72HP deficit. Your C7 may have also had the e-Diff. You're comparing a "sorted" car to a "get autta hea" (bronx cheer) car.
ignoring 2020-2023, when and what vehicles? Can you post the full buyers order? Point being they may well have inflated your trade to sign the deal. Doesn't mean it was an "honest" assessment that you'd get if you walked into Carmax or another dealer with no intention of buying anything in...
yup that Ohio dealer has a bunch (all?) Mustangs at Invoice. Maybe the DH discount is in error, but maybe not. The mania is over whether buyers or some dealers what to admit it or not.
seriously, give it up. There is no rhyme or reason. There is no "should X" in any Ford IT system. You'd have better luck predicting the next earthquake on Jupiter.
against a good UHP A/S you're gonna need a less than TW200 summer in good and hot conditions to really notice anything. eg. when I swap my PS A/S for Cup2, I can tell there is a clear difference in lateral grip. I swap because I can. Not because for street driving it is in any way needed...
they grab back "profit margin" with these $800-1100 "doc" fees. A quick rule of thumb for domestics is nobody is selling at a loss at 9% below MSRP. If you're a big dealer and between the 'advertising funds' and this and that from the manufacturer you're getting pretty close to landed cost at...
hmm, really? Pretty sure I saw a decent cross-section of 255/40/19 winter options. You could go down to 245 too. A bit stretched but 245-255/45 would be enough sidewall generally speaking.
I counted 5 or 9 options in suitable sizes.
