Having a monitor up there means your eye line is up there, and not out front.
With the monitor on the windscreen, albeit off to one side, you are still looking forward.
This front parking camera will probably only get occasional use, but it's nice to know it's there.
Mike, I made the assumption that the premium $329 price point applied to all colours, but apparently not. Supply and demand kicks in.
I'm fully prepared to spend the $350 I was quoted by a local panel shop to rub back and respray, but we'll see what we get. May not need it.
We should line...
The 3D printers I want, I can't afford.
One would print aloominum. :sunglasses:
With such a large surround, I suspect they have hacked away at the front grille.
The camera doesn't appear to have much, if any, down tilt at all:
Call me crazy, but I don't care what's 20m away - you can...
I think I was finally coming around to having a spoilerless naked rear end. :frown:
But what the hell, it's what i originally wanted....
Another local in the BMZ club!
Thanks @PTR GT for starting the topic, and @VB50GT for the details about BMZ.
I was asleep at the wheel about any BMZ...
With these off take spoilers from BMZ, the vertical marks (that are especially apparent on Oxford White), are they simply dirt/grease that cleans off?
Or something else that necessitates a respray?
Front Parking Camera
Aside from being over a solid week of editing (I'm not joking), this video runs 29 minutes.
I think I cover absolutely everything here.
Grab your favorite beverage and enjoy.
I'm using a wireless reverse camera system as a front camera.
Wireless means there are...
Yes, there are.
Both cabled and wireless.
I was looking into this 6 months ago.
I purchased a USB camera with UVC (USB Video Class).
These can plug into the USB port (via an adapter) to any phone that supports OTG (On The Go) connectivity.
Poverty cheapo phones are unlikely to support OTG...
Video Teaser! :bandit:
I'm currently editing a video about my front parking camera project, something I started researching months ago.
The video itself has become bigger than Ben Hur, with over 200 video clips and still assets in use, and over a solid weeks work in editing over the last 3...
Who said Mustang sales were slowing down?

Battery Cover Scrivets
It's easy to lose a battery cover scrivet (screw rivet) down into the engine bay!
Avoid the temptation of the cheapies on the Chinese websites.
And, check your battery every now and then.
Being "out of sight, out of mind" can lead to problems.

That's the way to do it! :like:
Oh yes, and the earmuffs.
Your homework was more thorough than mine.
I got these after the first couple of blow jobs...
A custom bracket!
1.2mm aloominum, lovingly cut, filed, sanded, primed, and just sprayed with enamel gloss black to match the front grille.
That's the only clue.
Appearing in a future video....
What towel are you using?
For the last couple of washes, I've been using a high(er) pH soap to remove the coating of Bead Maker (it's resilient!), so I can give Collinite No. 845 wax a try in due course.
As the hydrophobic properties diminish, the blower isn't as effective, as fully expected...
Just received this in my inbox from Total Tools as a loyalty member.
You local store may have a similar deal....
Spend $500, and get $100 worth of member credit.
You never spend money to save money, but the $200 worth of credit I had from my Ego purchase almost a year ago was spent yesterday...
Hill Start Assist
Meant to post this a week or so ago....
I was, for reasons that escape me now, poking around in the car's settings recently, the first time in many months.
The missing Hill Start Assist now appears in the menu.
The dealer could not explain why it didn't appear in the menu...
