Rear Wing Spoiler Fitment Preparation
Remnants of double-sided tape has been removed from the OEM take off spoiler by wearing my fingers to the bone, and using tar & adhesive remover.
According to the date stamp, it appears this spoiler was manufactured in July 2024, one month after my car...
I was expecting you to be using up the BH Trace Less at every opportunity! :giggle:
I made sure I used some Trace Less on Thursday for RAV4.
It's going to take many winters to get through it, me thinks.
I think your choices might boil down to getting one of the pieces sprayed locally.
Get a complete black one, and spray the deck lid panel, or get the Atlas Blue, and spray the spoiler.
Both available at the moment.
Atlas Blue: (I note this is a higher price point of $349 - must be quite ok!)...
As none of the local Aussie aftermarket providers have been forthcoming about S650 spoiler options, or promoting something as "Coming Soon" and then treating potential customers like absolute mugs for over 12 months, I went with this...
Mixed emotions about posting this, considering so many people in the world are suffering right now because of various dictators, despots and screwed up ideologies....
But, Happy Birthday Mustang.
Assembly offline was 1 year ago today.
For something that was manufactured 12...
Noted! :like:
It will be the first time using the 845 for me.
I did stumble across this, this morning.
Youtube was reading my mind!
Same suggestion of hot water, or leaving it out in the sun.
My first use of Reload 2.0 on the RAV4 today was limited to the exterior plastic trim pieces.
I...
With such a large surround, I suspect they have hacked away at the front grille.
Their camera doesn't appear to have much, if any, down tilt at all:
Call me crazy, but I don't care what's 20m away - you can look out the f'ing windscreen for that!
I want a good view of what is less than...
Well, so much for the self imposed spending freeze!
Have fallen way behind with detailing both cars and still have plenty of products on hand.
And..... this arrived today from both Waxit and CCP, taking advantage of EOFY sales.
Except for NV Purge, the rest is new to me.
I plan...
This is my first manual since 2009, (so my opinion of whether it's notchy or not is worth sweet F A), but a weighted shift knob is such a great improvement.
So easy to install.
I went with the "Slammer" from Raceseng, who sadly are no longer in business.
Gloss red to match the Brembo...
I posted this a week or so ago in my own "What's in ALM's garage thread" for the local Aussies that follow me, but thought it may be worth a topic of it's own, as those in other markets might consider implementing something similar.
Front Parking Camera
I'm using a wireless reverse camera...
Black Pack 5.0 Fender Emblems
I returned home with a pair of these from a work trip to the USA just over a year ago, the first post in this thread actually - four months before I took delivery of the car,
Where did those 12 months go? :wait:

I was getting close to pulling the trigger on an RTR duckbill spoiler... then I saw what happened with yours. :crying:
The RTR appealed because it replaced the spoiler delete module.
No drilling, and you get to keep the module if you want to revert back.
So does this one.
No brainer! :like...
Yes, I know.
This is sad and pathetic.
Checking the shipping progress morning, noon and night.
Almost as bad as checking the whereabouts of the RORO vessel that has your new car aboard, morning, noon, and night! :giggle:
I can't recommend these enough, because I like my glass sliding door just the way it is - in one piece!
Wheel stops, available from various places, but begrudgingly the local monopoly was the most convenient.
Bunnings - 550mm wheels stoppers...
You've touched on another passion of mine...
A fellow electronics/microcontroller nerd? 🤓
My favorite was the Teensy 3.2 and Teensy LC for their 5V tolerant pins.
I get my PCBs fabbed in China. Professional quality for not much.
And if I can build a touchscreen into the project, bonus...
Have a look at this ebay listing:

The two outer mounting points look the same.
You could take the boot (trunk) liner off and have a peak to see what is underneath.
That is easy...
