nice, I've heard crickets from my dealership aside from they can't makes changes to the order because its scheduled. But no vin from them and ford says I have to get the vin from the dealer. Was ordered 9/29
Yeah, the price difference between the 305/315 trefeos and perrelli all seasons is astounding...like more than double per tire on average. I found after owning a GT350 with 305/315s on the CUP2's that those are garbage tires for the street so unless I planned to track the car I actually prefer...
Yeah, sad about both those options being deleted entirely, especially the home link. I can either use myQ on my phone or clip the garage remote to my sunvisor like its 1985.
I have a dark horse on order. Optioned out there wasn’t a huge price difference between a 401A and 700A. You get slightly more customizability with the 401A and slightly more track oriented functionality on the 700A. My take was I wanted the blue stitched interior, and the extra cooling and the...
You get black floormats in front standard. But you now have to pay $225 for the optioned floor mats with logo. This shows up as “Carpeted Floor Mats Logo Left Side” for $225 on your build sheet.
Grabber Blue for sure. Personally I don’t prefer the GT/CS package, primarily because I don’t want California branding but thats a personal preference. I would choose the top Grabber Blue with active valve exhaust and the B&O being great options you won’t regret.
One of my favorite things is driving a mustang in a nice rain, especially at night with all the gauges lit up. Can’t imagine keeping such a chastity belt on my pony but to each their own, mustangs were meant to be driven! Cant wait for my 26’ dark horse to arrive!
Ordered my dark horse few weeks back and haven't received anything from the dealer except the signed paperwork. Not in a huge rush tho. I ordered a truck from them about two years ago November and heard not a peep until it showed up in July the following year. But I also wasn’t pinging them for...
The 1998 Mustang GT cost $19.5K new. I bought it in 2003 for $9500 with 62,000 miles on it. I put $2000 of my basic training money as down payment and my payment was $218.48 for 48/Mo. It came standard with rear wing spoiler, 5 Speed manual, racing cloth seats and fog lamps. My options were a...
Looks like the new colors teal and orange can be added to Dark Horse to either 600A/700A along with prime blue seat belts. GT/Ecoboost get black sill scuff plates not much else.
Primarily color options with the new model years. I like the extra colored seat belts. My ideal build is Grabber Blue or Orange Fury with matching seat belts on black interior, add the nite pony and GT Performance packages, looks great. Deleting the garage door opener is annoying but not a deal...
Technically the wife but I trade about every 1-3 years…get bored I guess and always looking for the new thrill. I’ve started to look into leasing vs buying as trade in values have come down enough to where you take normal depreciation losses again. Buying new is 10% depreciation instantly and...
Yes little disappointed the illuminated sills and UGDO are cut, but the sills are easy enough to add, as I’ve done it before-I do love the colored seat belts, my ideal order is a premium GT in Orange Fury with PP, Nite Pony, Blue Brakes, orange seat belts. The GT spec’d how i want it is about...
Never really understood the obsession with the 79-93 foxbody. It had a long run and got people excited about the mustang again, as 70’s were a horrible decade for cars. US makers went small due to competition from Asia entering the US auto matket. But always thought the foxbody’s were absent the...
I do agree, the colors are very tried and true missionary, nothing too exciting yet, although I’m always excited about a Race Red Mustang. I am torn between waiting for an orange color to be introduced and picking up Race Red for 24’.
S650 interior is basically Foxbody with digital dash, its even curved the same way as the old foxbody analog gauge cluster. They are definitely similar. Correct me if I’m wrong but Foxbody was the longest running design of the mustang so far, 15 years i think even tho there were minor revisions...
Yeah, my plan is to look for a low mileage S550, preferably the GT350. Otherwise go for the S650 but probably wait a year for additional colors and bugs to be fixed.
Yeah while I can get on board with retro styling…Foxbody was never my jam. Kinda kicking myself for selling my S550 now. But theres always used market. I’m sure a lot of people will still trade up for the power boost. But I’m probably going Dark Horse and will complain about the interior and...
