can confirm, ordered my DH without those two options for those exact reasons. It is a blast to drive around town and backroads. Although, I think the sticky tires are more responsible for the tramlining than the 305s. Hellcat was a dream to drive on 305 all season perelli's.
Yeah I feel you, if it makes you feel better this is the absolute worst time of year to trade in a mustang and the absolute best time of year to buy one. The market is absolutely stocked with cars, used and new. As others have said, you rarely get much money back on options above the base of...
best thing to ever happen to you. There's a reason cars ran off firmware and were only rarely updated...OTA means bugs and lots of broken things. I keep mine turned off. I would only turn it on if there were new gauges being pushed (there aren't).
Here is the update I received from Ford Racing today:
They have just started shipping out the 2025 kits. I have not heard of any confirmation that they will be doing 2026 kits, however I do believe that they will.
The way the process works is that the sale is reported to our group, then is...
These look really cool, however my special ordered 2026 just came in and from the posts here seems it can take a year+ for them to come in. Hopefully 2026 models get them also.
Here is a link to a video that will make you feel better about the bmw, but also hungry for the dark horse:

Dark Horse was really limited also its first year. Then Ford moved to ondemand orders in 2025. I think something similar for the SC, it will have to be rare to increase excitement first year, but more will be available over time.
Gotta love inflation. An 801A F150 Raptor pushes $90K now.
If I ever had Jay Leno or Tim Allen money...I'd totally have a giant garage with a car collection! They would both tell you to drive your car...cars were meant to be driven. Use it in good health.
no mustang "holds value", its a depreciating asset. Every single year, the value goes down. The rarer 350/500 models are the exception to that but even those like for example the 2014 GT500, which according to Nadaguides average price paid in my zip code is still $49K to dealers, the average...
Its a federal benefit for all US taxpayers from the big beautiful bill for 2025/2026 tax year for new cars assembled in the US but caps at income 100K indiv/200K joint. Meaning if you make more than that you get nothing, which most Dark Horse buyers do, Iād imagine.
In a ānormalā sales market, you take 10-30% depreciation hit on a new vehicle purchase during the first year. After that itās around 8-12% annually for around 5 years. The post covid sales rush was not normal. Itās simple supply and demand and right now there is more supply than demand, which...
Havenāt put many miles on mine because we got a huge ice storm right after I bought it, but I did notice some vibration/road noise and I couldnāt pinpoint it but seemed to be passenger door area. but the back road I was on wasnāt great either, it went away on the highway. The exhaust is super...
it's been confirmed to work I believe, as the home link is just powered from the same power that already powers the lights in the visor. There isn't any other wiring needed, unlike the sills, but its not like its hard to run a line and splice into the door wiring if you want those. I care less...
if you are doing a special order, there isn't much price difference between the fully loaded GT and the DH premium. If you are shopping for dealer lot inventory, there are discounts to be had right now on both. More for the GT and less for the DH. The DH has additional parts than a fully loaded...
