Buy a PP1 and put the DH tires on. You will be 99% there and you will never be able to notice the difference. The car will drive beyond your capabilities.
There is a BIG difference in money for .75 tenths. Parts, Labor, and the price increase. All told 20-25k difference to get .75- There is a saying “the juice isn’t worth the squeeze” comes to mind.
JPC- a tin can on nitrous with a drag pack that ran what it should have.
You are right not knocking Steeda just comparing platforms. One can go an 11 and the other costs more to begin with and the customer will have a 20k bill to run low 11’s.
Guess what at the end of the day you both have 11 sec cars albeit one is probably 25k cheaper all in. YMMV.
There is ONLY 1 report card- What does it ET and what is the MPH. All the rest is a circle jerk.
FYI as posted above it wasn’t on a dyno in a 1:1 gear so the numbers are skewed. If it isn’t 1:1 I walk away, it is meaningless.
I’ve said this over and over as of right now there is NO contract between Ford and Shelby American. Ford cannot make a GT350 or GT500 with the Shelby name attached to the cars without a contract between them.
The last contract expired after the 22MY.
