The problem is that EVs were forced when only a minority want them in the US. If it weren't for regulations and mandates and credits and penalties, EVs would just about be dead here. Even with all that, theyre only 9% of sales here.

I said Ford makes money on Mustang sales. What they spend that mustang money on has nothing to do with what I'm talking about. So what you're saying makes no sense at all as to what I'm talking about.

Fine that you're a c8 fan, but sales isn't the point you want to argue. C8 sales are falling like a rock. For example, last months US sales for the s650 were 4200 and c8 were 1800. And half the sales for c8, gm isn't making money. I guarantee every sale on a s650 Ford is making money.

Actually, might be the other way around. The zr1 finished a second and a half faster than the gtd. With all the hype that everyone created with the zr1, that's a complete flop.

They released the times and the zr1x was 6:49 and the zr1 was 6:50 (almost 6:51). So it only finished one and a half seconds faster than the gtd. I bet Ford goes back to beat it. Lol

You just proved my point. Half of Ford's sales come from one country alone (U.S.), and it's most popular vehicle globally gets all of its sales from one country alone (U.S.). So which country and vehicle do you think they care about most? Lol

Ford's main business and what they care about most is the F Series trucks. The rest of the world does not equal the U.S. when it comes to Ford. 80% of F150 sales are in the U.S.

Woahhh don't move those goal posts buddy. You said to me that low EV sales are terrible for ICE engines. I said no because the CAFE penalties don't exist anymore. So low EV sales are not bad for ICE. Low EV sales are bad for EVs.

There are no CAFE penalties anymore under the new bill. 👍🏻 Also EV credits end in September as well which is going to drop EV sales even further.

As long as the U.S. wants ICE engines, there will still be ICE. The electric Charger failed and will soon have a V8. EV sales are down in the U.S. also. Will drop wayyyy further as well because the EV credit is disappearing. The U.S. is nothing like Europe.
