Okay that makes sense! I was wondering. I may have read it wrong too. A GT Mustang would be quite the downgrade from your prior setup on the track. But would be much better (and legal) on the road!

I would tell them to stick it! And report them to Ford. Which is exactly what I will do if that happens to me when my Dark Horse arrives.

Agreed, I didnt know it was that much of a difference in $. I am not up on my camaro prices. It is crazy how good that camaro is for the price! Wish Ford would have stepped up and at least tried!

Would the Dark Horse not be a much more even match to the SS 1LE? Maybe just the SS vs the GT. But to me the SS 1LE and Dark Horse with Handling Pack are the same level car.

I agree with the above (low $50K GT to $70K+ Dark Horse). But, I would like to see a track battle between the two with the same driver. Then I think we would see why the Dark Horse is so much more expensive.
