A local Ford dealership body shop will add it for me for about $1200. They will drill the bumper and color the sensors. It will only be sound (which is fine). I was told you won't be able to tell they're there and they will hide the speaker so nothing extra inside.
Not sure why Ford didn't include this, seems like a standard thing nowadays for any car over $30K. Considering adding aftermarket ones. Has anyone added them? I'm used to front bumper sensors for the last 10 years with all my other cars, and I'm afraid of running into things with my Mustang...
Can someone provide some details about the "scheduling" and "production" mean on the thread? I ordered in April and it's scheduled to be produced 09/02.
Congrats Dave. That's a nice M2, enjoy!
To know surprise I just got an email from Ford and mine is yet pushed back again, now showing Sep 9! This is nuts!
yup my dealer also said that since Monday they've had an attack on the CDK. They can't even sell anything right now, and he's certain all the manufacturing delays are related to the cyber attack. They expecting to fix it today, so let's see.
same thing happened to me. I ordered in April with original build date of June, then moved to July, then August, and now Sep!!! This is getting ridiculous at this point.
