I'm now considering just doing ceramic coating....I'm getting quotes between $2,200 and $2,500 just for front PPF! I've never had PPF for any of my cars before so I am hesitant to spend that much money.
A shop told me they don't recommend PPF in the front only since my car is white and the difference between where the coating is applied and where it's not will be very obvious.
I made a thread about some of the negative stuff, so it's only fair that I make one about the good stuff.
1) The Drive! I love the way the car hugs the road. It's truly a wonderful drive.
2) Auto Hold - I live in an area where the streets are pretty steep and this function is amazing...
I've read most people are having issues with the wireless charging pad, but I think it may be my case. I have a Torras magsafe case for my phone. Most of the time it doesn't charge or it will start then stop. When I remove my case, I have zero problems, so that tells me the case is causing...
Oh I can change it to my profile through the wheel button? I saw the other modes but didn't know my own profile would be there. Thanks! I'll check it out.
Looking to add PPF just on the hood, from and front fenders and would like to know what it would cost? I live in CA so it'll be probably better more expensive than anywhere else but it'll give me an idea.
interesting. Maybe it's my case. I will remove my case next time I drive and see what happens. I have zero issues with other home or car wireless charging pads, so I didn't think it was my case.
7) I know this is a known issue, but my wireless charging pad works like 50% of the time, and went it does work, it doesn't actually charge 😂. Who's had success by removing the case?
I put my settings in (sports steering wheel, normal drive, and sports mode exhaust valve) and saved them to my profile and keypad, but it goes to normal modes for driving and AVE when I start the car. Am I missing a step?
I bought extended warranty cause this is the first year of this generation and was concerned things may start to go wrong down the road. But you're right I will probably regret it in 6 years when I look back at paying $2,400 and not using the warranty one time.
assuming you're referring to getting my car maintained nationwide with the plan, I'm not sure, but I don't think that would be necessary. The plan does cover me at any local Ford dealership though.
1) the "premium" plan includes all necessary maintenance during the allotted time. I would love to price out the entire maintenance for 6 years changing the oil every 5,000 miles so I can compare. I will not doing anything myself, including changing air and cabin filters.
2) it's my daily...
I just picked up my manual GT PP and I did end up buying the extended warranty and now considering purchasing the maintenance plan.
I was quoted 5 years/ 60,000 miles at 5k intervals oil change for $1,995, at 7.5k intervals $1,580, and
6 years/ 75,000 miles at 5k intervals $2500, and at 7.5k...
