Honestly do not like it at all
If they gave it some shape or even sectioned off the gauge cluster I'd be more about it. iE Audi /vw etc. but the screens look just like that, my pc screens at work that I look at 8 hours a day. If there was more shape I could work with it.
It's going to depend on the person. The mustang Recaros left me with a right leg in pain for a day cause my legs sit above the thigh support, seats fully lowered etc. shorter legs may not notice it but again if the adjustability was there this wouldn't be a topic of convo.
there's been no long term reliability with the lt1 engine which was the c7 engine as far as carbon build up goes Base msrp is actually 45k. I've bought two of them. The lockout is easily defeated with a $3 device or simply rev the car to 3k rpm when shifting out of first. Hardly an issue...
fair enough. I actually think the Camaro is the better car overall in that regard. 46k for a SS 1le with a tremec, pdr, handling suspension etc is just superior. Comparing it to a mach1 you have a higher seating position, more cost, less features. Though totally agreed the 5.0 has more...
Im not sure what 20k car you were talking about lol
" But the GTI comes with a powertrain for a car that should cost less than 20K "
I wasn't going into the whole camaro visibility (which honestly its perfectly fine) etc. Strictly seats as topic of the convo. Ford could put better seats in...
the gti weighs 3k lbs give a little. A v8 would offset its whole geometry. The ea888 is very capable and a tune alone will put down 400hp. Show me a 20k car new that can do that without blowing. Comparing the two cars is kinda like saying You like apples over cereal. The mustang seats are...
Height is subjective. Eveyone has different variances within height. Longer legs vs longer torso or shorter arms etc. so what may work for one guy that's 6ft4 may not work for another the same height
Hopefully we get someone in the seat in the next few months
currently the s550 passenger seats will be able to go lower than the driver. I don't think it would take much engineering to match that and maybe ford will gift us tall guys
Having drive two Camaro SS 1les (285/305s) and dailying track suspension (I maxed negative camber front and rear with toe to 0) I can tell you it's partially the tires and the suspension and your alignment
alignment being a big big part of it. Followed by the suspension then the tires. If...
People said the same thing with the s550 when it first came out. I now believe everyone says the same darn thing every generation about everything. Music isn’t the same it’s crap now. *shakes fist at the kids*
there is one article I read saying that as well. Don’t know if I really believe it. Would be cheaper to lower the seat than redesign the roof but who knows. I’ve also compared legroom specs between s550 and s650 showing a loss of a few inches but I think the specs are off cause I don’t see that...
Seats are often replaced for people that want lower center of gravity or just too tall to be comfortable. If ford wants the most track focused mustang ever those seats gotta go lower. Aftermarket seats work but you gotta fiddle with airbag sensors and then other factors. Would use be awesome if...
There seems to be some change in the stock leather seats. Will these sit lower? They look like they might be an inch with less foam in the seat? Anyone sat in both?
