Yeah, I doubt priority code really matters unless there is a commodity restraint. My order is priority code 1, which is supposed to be the highest priority, but my build still says "in production" on the tracker.
Every Ford vehicle goes through the same development process with OKTB being the final step. This delay is a new-generation issue. It probably won't happen again for next years Mustangs, even if they release a special edition.
Here's the status of our management lease vehicles. You can see the order and build dates. I've been waiting months for my Mustang but the Edge we ordered last month has already been built AND shipped.
The previous location was at the assembly plant. The current location is a lot in Dearborn. This is important because it means the vehicles have been approved and released from the plant. We should be getting our cars soon.
If Ford is releasing vehicles from the plant, which we know they are based on all the trailer photos in other threads, it is very likely that OKTB has been achieved. There's no real way to know for sure, but it's not completely unreasonable to think that we might receive our vehicles at the end...
