If anyone knows of a dealer in the midwest that still has an allocation for a Dark Horse premium let me know, willing to place an order at this point and drive a bit to pick it up. Been searching online on all kinds of sources (autotrader, cars.com, Ford.com, etc) and can't find one close enough...
Thanks for confirming, I've ordered a couple of Corvettes in my life and those work on an allocation basis as well, same story, any dealer will take your order but then it will sit there until they get an allocation. I was fortunate to work with good dealers where they put me on a list, but I...
I've been able to find some on lots, but all the ones I can find are 800-1200 miles away from me. I want a handling package car without a bunch of other options, in red, grabber blue, or adriatic blue. Might consider a vapor blue car or white car, but the rest of the colors don't interest me.
I'm getting two different stories from two different dealers. One dealer says they can order a Dark Horse premium any time they want to. The other dealer is telling me they have to have an allocation to order. The first dealer I specifically said to them that I thought they needed an allocation...
One of the best races I've watched in a while, been watching Supercars for a long time. Rain is the great equalizer, these guys really battled it out at the end of the race.
As far as water spot removal on glass, I've had really good luck with this. Its much like a rubbing compound but designed for glass. I had a 2004 GTO, which was built in Australia by Holden and shipped over here. Had all kinds of salt water spots on the glass. This stuff takes it right off...
I upgraded from a 12 year old Escort Redline to get better rejection of the spurious radar signals from anti collision systems in the cars around me. The redline was going off all the time in traffic. Otherwise I wouldn't have upgraded, the Redline had unbelievable detection range
The M2 is a great car, but it doesn't have a V8, which is what I want. Don't care if the M2 is a better car for the same money, I want V8 power with a track oriented chassis, the Dark Horse fits the bill.
This has pretty much been the norm for all US built cars with DRL's. GM cars work the same way. The GM cars I had, as mentioned, just one click on the parking brake would turn off the DRL's
Have done my own detailing for close to 40 years, there are so many good products on the market that are so easy to use. I use C6 Mist or DIY Ceramic Gloss as a coating. I don't install the typical ceramic coatings that come in the little bottles as I detail my cars multiple times per year and...
I bought a new Nissan 200SX SE-R back in the late 90's that wore the same way. Wore out my front tires in less than 10000 miles. Turns out when they would chain them down on the transport truck they would pull them down too tight and it knocked the alignment off on the front end causing...
Lots of good ideas in this thread, the key for interior glass is to get the scum off the glass (many methods have been suggested, use the one that works for you) then use your favorite glass cleaner to clean whatever is left over.
