Problem with the ecoboost is the power band is so slim. It's only making 250 to the wheels from like 4500 to 5500rpm. Then it falls off a cliff. Extremely narrow power band.
The GT is putting 350+ to the wheels from 3k to well past 7k. There is no drop.
Active exhaust is my favorite option. Around town it's great to make some noise but cruising on the highway you can eliminate the drone any time you want.
I've already done a thousand mile road trip around Florida and I couldn't imagine doing that and having to listen to a loud ass exhaust the...
Do the other cars have those ridiculous carbon traps that the mustang has? I've watched a couple dyno results where just pulling out the carbon traps and using aftermarket air filters can free up 30 horsepower. That would put the coyote on par with the M2 number wise. Not bad for a cost free...
Well blame ford for putting a basic handling package on a mustang and giving it an exclusive name and pricing it the same as the base corvette. The Dark Horse is a silly trim level imho.. it's not a different car than the GT. It should have had the bigger engine from the GT350 at the least to...
A real neutral drop is doing it from a stand still. Put it in neutral, floor it, bounce off the rev limiter, slam it in gear. Bonus points if you dump a gallon of bleach on your tires first.
No one bought that though. Guess not many soccer moms wanted a 150k turd.
The second-generation NSX's twin-turbo V6 paired with its hybrid-electric powertrain made it good for 573 horsepower and 476 lb-ft of torque, placing it in the same category as cars like the Lamborghini Huracan and...
0-60 time is a poor comparison on a car that has way more power than traction stock. Once a GT is set up with proper wheels and tires the launch improves considerably.
Back when the Ranchero and El Camino existed there weren't any mini trucks. Not everyone wanted or needed a full sized pickup, but still wanted to be able to take their lawn mower to the repair shop once in a while.
Problem with the convertible is you aren't allowed to run it on a track so what's the point really? Spend all that money on extra power just to lose your drivers license faster? How often and in what context would you actually use it?
Well duh. If you're going by resale value it wins by a mile. Much rarer car even if equal performance. Then again the Mustang is probably a lot more comfortable and has modern infotainment.
If you're setting temp to "low" you are basically setting it to max AC. Low temp setting is something the car can never attain so the fans stay full blast. If you want the auto setting to adjust the fans you have to set the temperature to a reasonable number that the car can attain in a...
You're probably going to lose more in trade in value with the 4 banger than it would have cost to pony up for the GT to begin with.
That's why you can't afford the GT now. Buying cheap cars = no equity when you trade them in. In 5 years the GT will be worth 25-30k and you will be lucky to...
There are two traction control settings. Hitting the button once disables traction control. Holding it in for five seconds turns off stability control. Track/drag/custom modes do it also I believe.
