If your state requires a front plate(thankfully PA doesn't), why do you care if they drill the holes? You will never see them as you have to have the plate there.
Just genuinely curious.
I would certainly want the 486 ponies as well, but I have always wondered if they both have the 420 foot pounds of torque, would anyone really be able to feel the 30 hp? Having driven every generation of Coyote, to me the all feel the same since 2018 brought on 460 hp.
The design is a straight BMW rip-off. The carbonized gray and bronze PP wheels are very dull and have no pop. I test drove a black one at Keller Bros. In Lititz PA with the bronze package and it was a colossal disappointment.
I instantly liked these and bought the car. I am a huge fan of nickel...
The pistons on the DH are not forged and differ from the GT500. The GT conrods are forged as well, just a different metal and forging process than the GT500/DH. Both use forged cranks as well.(supposedly different balancing in the DH)
No drone at all. Most droning occurs with the resonator delete.
I probably would have just added the H-pipe and been done with it, but as I mentioned I find the AVE tips lacking as well as the puny 3ā tips on the standard exhaust. Hence the Roush. And it was only $780, so not too bad.
Not sure where your power numbers are coming from, but check this video out from a very reputable company in Steeda. Canāt get much more accurate with 2 cars, same dyno, same day, same weatherā¦
Difference is only 13hp. Different connecting rods donāt really make for a unique engine but I do...
As I am not a fan of the single wall tips on the AVE, I went standard and immediately installed the Roush axle back. Sound absolutely terrific and looks great too!
The $10k mark-up on the DH at my dealer is also a big reason. My .02, you have to be nuts to pay over $80k for what is basically a Mustang GT. Iām sorry, but the DH is not a special car.
I had a hard time paying the $54k for my GT Premium.
I had it in the GT350, Mach 1 and Bullitt and felt it wasnāt necessary this go around. Shocks are just 1 component in the very complex world of suspension and there will always be something ābetterā. The technology is cool and it is marginally better than standard shocks, but I wouldnāt say itās...
They are not meant to be changed or removed. Iāve seen a few videos of dyno pulls with the Mach 1 (it had a similar carbon filter/trap) and the S650 and it was a noticeable power increase. Ranged from about 5-18 hp gain. Throw on an exhaust an maybe a few moreā¦
