Is it weird for me to be deciding between the GT350 (Yea, I know..parts bin GT), or this? :giggle:
There was a rumor last week that they might also announce a second mustang, AWD and/or a 7.3...maybe thats still under wraps?
That's exactly my point. I grew up always wanting a Shelby / Cobra. Now that some of us actually have the income to make it happen, they turn around and call it a 'Dark Horse'; not something we grew up with.
I was ready to give Ford my money if they called it a COBRA.... why do this to us Ford? No one wants it called a 'Dark Horse SC'. I get trying to appeal to the next generation, but what 20 year old has $100k+ laying around, which is probably where this will be?
Agree, at the risk of sounding like I am whining, I really wanted a Cobra name variant. Dark Horse whatever is a no sell for me, and I am ready to buy.... Maybe we will be pleasantly surprised with more than one type of variant tomorrow...
Thanks!
Zach, I think ill be ready for a boss / cobra whatever is coming next year if I like what I see... you are going to be my first reach out this time :)
Wow, if true.. I seriously don't know which one I would go with. On one hand, the 7.3L Megazilla in a Mustang sounds nuts, on the other hand, I'm really curious how an AWD Hybrid V8 Cobra will perform...
this 100% looks like a packaging issue. Shippers are going to sometimes not treat boxes the best, but regardless that damage looks like something that could have been prevented with some padding surrounding the most vulnerable points. Unless, they shipped them like that? . One time, I...
If Ford is going to release a Boss / Cobra variant or announce it in 2026, my assumption would be it being tied to some mid cycle refresh schedule or at least to closely follow.
Personally, I'm still holding out until I see a different front bumper profile 🙃, or if the cobra / boss looks...
For me, I don't mind waiting as I am not a fan of the some of the current front end design choices. If a Cobra / Boss variant comes along that has a different design (I really like the GT3 front for example), it may spark my interest.
If they are the same junk Pirelli tires that came with the s550s, do yourself a favor and do tons of burnouts and then go buy some new Michelin Pilot Sport 4s
Complete guess, maybe something to do with a euro spec mustang and it was cheaper to just make it part of the wire harness setup and terminate rather than having two variants?
