Darkhorse SC Order Guide was posted here (It confirmed that if I do order next year it will probably be a base model): https://www.fordgt500.com/threads/2026-dark-horse-sc-order-guide.215317/
I didn't realize $74K was AFTER gas guzzler and destination fees. So yea, now we are talking about a $15K increase rather than what I thought was $11K. I wouldn't call it grossly overpriced, but its definitely bordering it. They could have called its $99,850 or something, and I think people...
I think we all have to face the reality that all cars (not just a Mustang) have substantially increased in price over the past several years. When you account for inflation, the price of the SC is not too far off from the S550 GT550 when it debuted.
The problem I have is that Farley is trying...
I hope its not that crazy. If a 'base' DH SC starts around $95K like some people think, I would guess the Shelby base would start around $120K ish. But you could be right, by the time all the bells and whistles are added it could be pushing well near the high 100's :crying:
still not a huge fan of the front, and worst of all the nameplate. I'm going to hold off to see what type of variant Shelby American makes out of this (e.g. GT500)
Regardless of what you think of current day Shelby American, I wonder if they will end up taking this DH SC and re-badging it to sell it as their own GT500 build... it will be interesting.
maybe a dumb question, has it been possible in past track pack options to not get the Recaros? Between lack of heated / cooling seats and just general comfort, I wouldn't want them 😅
