I have indeed! Had continentals on some previous Mustangs, Michelin’s on my AMG Mercedes. Those tires wore out fast. These NT555 G2 are great!!!
BTW, I might ask you the same question…. have you had these specific NT555 G2 tires on any of your vehicles?
I took off those Troferos off after 200 miles… useless in wet weather, and the stickiness creates a situation where it throws little stones and pebbles back at your car, chipping the paint. I went with the Nitto NT555 G2, an amazing performance tire. Give them a look see!!!
I pulled those off my dark horse with handling package as fast as I could. Useless in wet weather, the stickiness of the tires grabs every stone/pebble on the road and kicks it back, chipping the paint.
Mine are in storage if anyone wants to buy them….. great tire for track day!
Yeah, you’re so cool and skilled, driving a stick, youre one the few, a rare breed, that can do it. I’m simply awed by your ability.
Don’t feel bad that you spent all that money while you’re left in the dust!! You’ll get over it, I’m sure!!
Neither car was broken in, but my salesman, who I’ve bought many Mustangs from, let me go full board on it on the freeway. There was no comparison between the stick and the Auto.
recently bought a dark horse with handling package. Test drove both the stick and the Auto. The stick just felt so much slower so I went with the Auto.. Regardless, both great vehicles and to each their own.
I remember buying the 2008 GT500 and thinking, wow $45+ for a Mustang. The pricing back then was unrealistic for most Mustang enthusiast and yet they continued selling the car at a higher and higher price for years. With inflation, cost of living increases, the car in 2008 dollars, it’s pretty...
Quite frankly, most of the iconic Mustangs have their names etched solely with Ford…. Mach 1, Boss, SVO/SVT, Dark Horse, California Special, GTA, Bullitt… the list goes on and on
Go for the Nitto NT555 G2. They come in both the 305 and 315 size. Just swapped out the Trofero RS’ as well. Will use them whenever I go out to the track otherwise, for daily driving, the Nittos will be great.
just picked up a clone of yours, Black with handling package. We had a lot of rain in California and the troferos worthless when wet. Switching out on Saturday.Nitto NT555 G2. I’ll put the Pirelli’s back on in the Spring and hit Willow Springs. I’ll report back about the.Nitro’s
