Sorry if your feelings got hurt, bud. This thread isnāt the only source of info, and there is a lot of feedback on the pioneer being an inexpensive plug and play to get by until a full build can be done. Not sure what you were expecting that caused you to be so mad that you removed your original...
Well, now the real work starts. My GT has the 12 speakers system, and Iām pretty underwhelmed with the SQ for what I paid for. Iāll wait a month before tinkering but that pioneer upgraded will be a minimum.
I did end up talking to the GM. He printed out all the price info I asked for, and even went so far as to print out all the data they had regarding sales and such for my trade in, so they gave me a respectable amount.
So... I joined the family.
That's the one. They are telling me it was a custom order but it was sitting on the lot for a couple months while they waited after I told them I knew it was sitting on the lot for a least 120 days. Not sure they expected me to know that, lol.
Took her for a test drive - first time driving a...
Initial text was $60,689 before dealer fees and TTL. It's been on the lot for 120+ days, so I feel I got some room to work with them and get it lower..... maybe.
With the employee pricing, I decided to take a hard look at the local inventory, and found what I think is a nice setup. I'm thinking that I should be able to get this under $60k. Maybe $58k? Am I wrong? Dealer is advertising at $66,400 MSRP, and looking at the history on car edge, it looks like...
Looks like Iāll be taking another look next week at a build and/or local inventory.
Having to take delivery by 6/2 does seem to mean they want to clear out current inventory and ordering means you miss out.
Are they? Who in their right mind would want to buy a Tesla right now, and given the expense of other EVs, I don't see those flying off the lots either. I haven't looked at sales figures, but I am willing to bet that ICE is outselling EV by a large margin right now.
Back in the day when I did the car club and went to car shows, I was far more of a "show" than "go" guy. Tinkered with plenty in terms of car audio, and this is something I would love to dive into once I get my hands on a new Mustang, but in car entertainment is in a different world from even...
I think to some degree it's a coping mechanism, but there are some nice advantages for a car keeping value. Your car get burned to the ground, stolen, or smashed in a wreck? How much is the insurance company going to give you? Need to sell to get a different car because your family life has...
I'm not so sure that Ford products will get jacked up in cost. From what I recall, there was talk about some exemptions. I'm looking for some data to back that up, but what I found so far....
From the WSJ...
I could be WAY off on this, but my gut is telling me that if American companies (Ford...
This was 100% something I was thinking while I watched. Not that I am skilled enough to pull off half the stuff you see stunt drivers do, but I could have sworn they could have taken those turns far more aggressively than they did!
That would be roughly 230-250 Euro.
Edit - I stand corrected.... EUR has gone down a little. That would be about 180 EUR. Math on a friday evening is hard.
