Finally got it installed and super satisfied. I won’t lie it is piss off your neighbors loud, but the gt350 that lives by me is still louder (i have to find the owner and ask his setup LOL). For a little under $400 on LP website with loyalty pricing, you cant beat it!
Originally went to my dealer to run numbers on a oxford white, 401a, magneride, ave and honestly i could afford it, but it didnt make sense for me. Had them look around and they found my grabber blue 400a, ave, grabber blue bremobos, emberglo interior for $200 less a month. This is the first car...
Signed the papers sight unseen like most here, dealer was roughly 500 miles away but it was EXACTLY what i wanted. Custom order + waiting so long to get it, if thats a problem you dont want the car bad enough. No worries, just move on
Update: Axleback system has been ordered is supposed to be here monday. I’ve only ever wrenched on lifted trucks (never installed any exhaust), so this is a little out my realm but who doesnt love a challenge? 🤣 I’ve looked all over youtube for an install video… to no avail. Any tips/advice on...
Just did a quick google search and they seem to be reputable. I agree, although i think a 2 month+ wait is a little egregious. Might end up pulling the trigger anyway
Drone doesnt bother me at all, I contacted mbrp and they said it wont retain the active functionality. I dont care if it does as i mainly drive in track mode anyway. Do you have any thoughts/opinions/concerns/advice?
Thank you for the feedback! I live in an apartment complex but there is a handful of loud cars all around (scatpack with no cats, gt350, and of course all the lifted trucks) My main cconcern would be getting a CEL after install, but it looks like the actuator plate prevents that.
this happens for me daily, my work is in the middle of nowhere on a long straight highway. speed limit at 65 but 18 wheelers run 80 so you have to pin it and the same thing happens exactly as you described.
That’s what i was thinking. I contacted MBRP via email and they explained that although this will fit an active exhaust car, it doesnt retain the active feature. No biggie, just want to make sure it doesnt pop a CEL
