First let me say that my selective snipping of your message is not intended to alter your content but rather to foster a little brevity. While as a powertrain engineer Iām sure your conclusions are correct they seem to ignore the most obvious point, to wit: if you want to go faster, the foot...
Didnāt say ānot going to beā; said I was going āto try not to beā.
And yes, if I had to elucidate how much something bothered me to that extent, Iād sure sell it. Only makes sense to get something out of your life that bugs you that much.
I personally donāt really like the tablets/screens...
You guys crack me up.
Iām gonna try not to be offensive here, so keep that in mind when reading this. But itās difficult to say what I think needs to be said without being a bit blunt.
First off, if itās broke then get it fixed.
This is a driversās car, meant to be told firmly what to do...
Spend some time with a handling package equipped Dark Horse and youāll quickly realize it isnāt a pseudo anything. In fact, Iād get out on a limb and say in a bone stock tit-for-tat track comparison (including factory tires and everything) a HP DH would give the GT350 everything it could handle...
Well, keep in mind that many boomers (when did that get to be a pejorative thing?) enjoy reliving their youth. You whippersnappers will too if youāre lucky enough to make it this far. Plus, and more importantly, most boomers can write a check for the thing if they so desire. Itās important to...
Iām ordinarily a defender of FA and Iāve never thought they intentionally mislead the reader just to get clicks. They do the best they can IMO.
But in this case, while I still donāt think theyāre trying to mislead, it seems like sheer speculation to me. Pretty much the same buffet of guesses...
HA!
You know, thereās another guy around these parts who seems a bit concerned about having enough power under hood to get away from bad guys that he thinks may be after him. But I think he may be serious, given that he keeps his car heavily laden with artillery.
Funny, we see plenty pics of...
Paddles, youāre not kidding. The sound of a top down GT convertible with Active Exhaust in track mode is something that cannot be described. You just need to experience it.
Man, what an uplifting post; Ford should figure out a way to use your first photo in an ad of some sort! Pure joy!!
Your car is nothing short of stunningly gorgeous! That bronze package against the magenta just sets the whole car on fire. I have a rapid red GT convertible with the black package...
PP and HP are pretty well accepted and standardized. I donāt see HO too often these days but over the years it kinda meant High Output. DH-P I just never heard of or had seen before. Wouldnāt be too hard to figure out if I wanted to, but you know sometimes the juice just aināt worth the squeeze.
So wait a minute.
Letās say you want to pass a slower car. So do you pull over, think about it for a couple minutes (or maybe just slow down and divert your attention), decide what mode you think is called for, make the change, then try to catch back up and pass the guy?
I know you responders...
Yeah, and a little before that (umm, ~mid ā60s) American mags were really magnesium. At least ours were. If they offered anything other than the Torq-Thrust style we were all unaware of it.
That could certainly happen; Ford is capable of doing anything they want to do. But ~600 NA horsepower in a Mustang? While Iād love to see it I kinda doubt it. The last time they tried it with the GT350 I wouldnāt be surprised if their warranty claim dollars exceeded their per unit profit.
But...
