Thank you for asking. I have the same experience and I'm more used to it being lower for sure. Maybe at the middle is the highest I'd prefer, but this one seems even slightly higher than that.

I just did this last night with no issue. The holes all lined up fine. Are all your other holes lined up, just not the push pins? Might need to adjust your undertray a bit to line up. Or maybe it got a little warped.

One part number, two pieces

Right, that's what I wanted to know. If I only had the actual splitter and not the second piece, could it work or not

I'm specifically asking if anyone can give confirmation that the front splitter undertray is different between the HP splitter and the non-HP? Are they different part numbers? Will the HP splitter mounts not match the holes in the non-HP undertray? I plan to find this out by the end of the week...
