My point was that if the Hellcat and Z06 only made 14 more horsepower than the ScatPack or Stingray, they probably wouldn't sell very many. I can put headers on my GT and be making as much horsepower as a Dark Horse. Personally, I'd pay $70k or a little more for a Mustang making 100+ or more...
Personally, I think Ford fell short with the Dark Horse. I equate performance with horsepower and handling. While the Dark Horse may handle better than the GT, a 14 horsepower increase over the GT with AVE is pretty dismal. I wonder how many Z06's or Hellcats they'd sell with a 14-horsepower...
Way back when, I ordered a '98 Mustang Cobra that arrived in January. I had it flat bedded home from the dealership because of all the salt they put on the roads here. Put it right in our garage and didn't drive it until April.
My MOS was 0351, which back in 1968 was the 106 recoilless rifle, 3.5 rocket launcher (bazooka), flamethrower, and explosives. When I got to Vietnam they assigned me to a gun team, and I never used any of that training.
This doesn't include all of the "daily drivers" we've owned over the years. There were several minivans in there during the time our kids were growing up.

I've had my car for about 16 months. I came from the Corvette world and was a little apprehensive about buying the Mustang. I've had many muscle/performance cars over the years and can honestly say that my 2019 Corvette Z06 was one of the best and fastest cars I've ever owned. I had some initial...
Honestly, 2-2 1/2 days isn't bad at all. I had parts for my Corvette at my powder coater for 3-4 weeks. It was just a toy, so it didn't really make much difference. I guess it also depends on whether or not your car is a daily driver. Not sure that you'll find new rims for $800. If it were me...
I've had all kinds of car parts powder coated in my 76+ years. Powder coating is very durable and looks great. Can't really think of any cons. Actually, $800 doesn't sound too bad for 4 wheels. I'm changing my brake caliper color in the spring and have decided to have them painted instead of...
