What people don't understand, painting over any foreign raw plastic be it primed or not is a gamble. If it is not prepared properly it will fail. I paint cars everyday, not to mention cost of paint and materials is ridiculous especially a 3 stage red.

If your saying the labor time to remove the engine cover off it includes taking the strut tower brace off. The cover cleans up the engine bay. Who wants to see wires and spark plug coils?

If you clean it with isopropyl alcohol then put it on it won't come off. Mine has been on for over 10,000 miles. You'd have to chisel if off😆

I have non active exhaust, I put a roush H-Pipe on mine. Sounds good, a little loud on a cold start but not bad. Neighbors haven't complained.

My 2018 f150 has had 2 plastic oil pans replaced, the second one hasn't leaked. Like was said in a previous post there is a process to replace that must be followed. I vote for a metal oil pan. If it wasn't broken don't fix it.

I have a little over 10000 miles on my car, I haven't had all these issues. I think its connectivity issues. Might be because I live on a lake with a 5G tower across from me less than an 1/8 of a mile. Seems like I get updates before many do. OTA update problem.
